hey guys! i'm sora! i've been hanging out in this world for about five months now!

i wanted to asked everyone something that might help me figure out what i'm looking for. i wanted to ask what you think a heart is made out of.

and i don't mean your heart that makes your body work. i mean your heart. the thing inside of you that makes you who you are. that makes you happy or feel great. that makes you angry or cry. the heart inside of you that makes you part of everything around you or makes you see the light or darkness in your world.

i guess some people would call those souls? but i've always known them as hearts!

i wanna know what you think makes you, you. what your heart says about you! and how you think it got there.

More like you develop it based on your world. Not that it can't change or grow, but how many people interact with other worlds normally?

oh yeah i guess that makes sense

hearts are super complicated. if i go by how our own worlds fix or help hearts i might be out of luck right now...

Hearts, souls, whatever you wanna call them in the end. I think there's a good reason why we shouldn't think too hard about what they are or how they work. Sometimes, it's easier to accept they are and the person they make.

i can't really accept it right now, that's all. there's someone i'm trying to help. i really want him to get his own heart. it's been a long time since he hasn't had one.

[tantailizing]

He doesn't have one right now? We might have two different ideas of people without hearts then. Or souls. It's hard to say which one we're still talking about.

[oathkeeper]

i guess this is the part that's really complicated huh...??

hearts and souls are almost the same thing where i'm from.

[tantailizing]

Yeah. Even then, what I know about souls is probably still different than being what makes a person themselves. They keep worlds going after all.

[oathkeeper]

huh? what do you mean by that?

[tantailizing]

Souls are born from the planet along with other life. When you die, you return to the planet and help give new life. At least, that's how it is for my world.

[Also a very simplified explanation.]

wow... that sounds really cool actually.

do souls get reborn too?

[tantailizing]

Yeah, they have to at some point. If souls stop cycling, the planet can die.

[oathkeeper]

whoa... so it's a big circle of life. i get it.

do souls ever got lost along the way?

[Sorry, he's so curious!]

[tantailizing]

To be honest, I don't think they would normally.

[oathkeeper]

they always know where to go? that's a good thing.

[tantailizing]

If the soul originally belongs to the planet, I think it makes sense it knows where to go, right?

[oathkeeper]

yeah! that does make sense! actually it kind of makes me happy to know that after it's all done that the soul knows where it can go to be safe too

[He might be wondering if it'll be the same for him? The people he knows? Wow, things are getting big brained in here.]

[tantailizing]

Now the real question is what happens to a soul not born from the planet if it's never been introduced?

[oathkeeper]

yeah... now that's a big question. or what about souls that aren't originally part of your world?

[tantailizing]

Isn't that the same question?

[oathkeeper]

like if i kicked the bucket in your world what would happen to me???

[tantailizing]

Yeah, what would happen? Maybe it would take you, but it could reject your soul. Or maybe you'd somehow end up back in your world?

[oathkeeper]

that's kind of a scary thought!! i don't wanna be lost to space or something!

[tantailizing]

Oh yeah, and it'd be a while till you found another planet.

[oathkeeper]

i'd like to think that if something bad were to happen that your soul would be able to know where to go! be it safe with that planet or going home! or maybe even staying with other souls we love

that's how i wanna see it

Yeah. Just have to make sure your planet hasn't been destroyed or anything then.
