hey guys! i'm sora! i've been hanging out in this world for about five months now!

i wanted to asked everyone something that might help me figure out what i'm looking for. i wanted to ask what you think a heart is made out of.

and i don't mean your heart that makes your body work. i mean your heart. the thing inside of you that makes you who you are. that makes you happy or feel great. that makes you angry or cry. the heart inside of you that makes you part of everything around you or makes you see the light or darkness in your world.

i guess some people would call those souls? but i've always known them as hearts!

i wanna know what you think makes you, you. what your heart says about you! and how you think it got there.

I do, certainly. But I'd watch what you're implying.

[Is he teasing? it's hard to tell. Especially over text. And because it's Ira.]

But, to answer your question, a Heart is made up of more than just a strong will. Why that will exists, what they desire, their Light, and who knows what else? There's still a lot we don't know.

yeah you're right about that. there's just so much more we don't know about. i guess that's why people research it so much

Indeed. Is there a particular reason why you're asking?

well uhhh

there's someone i know who doesn't have a heart. i wanted to help him.

[iracorn]

Doesn't have a heart...like a Heartless? Or something else?

[oathkeeper]

no! he's not a heartless at all!

he came from someone else when his darkness was ripped out

[It's kind of a long story..........]

I think you're going to have to explain this in more detail.

erm welllll

he was what came out when a friend of mine had his darkness completely ripped out. they pretty much split into two people. they're seperate now.

but he's not a heartless because he can talk and think and feel all on his own.

[iracorn]

[It takes Ira a while to respond, mostly because he's wrestling with the magnitude of this. The idea that someone would do such a thing is mind-boggling, if he's being honest.]


So, he's a being of Darkness then?

Though, it sounds like he has moved beyond pure Darkness.

[He still has so many questions.]

[Amazing when a Kingdom Hearts character can baffle another Kingdom Hearts character.]

uh huh! he's pure darkness. but he's more than that now. honestly, he feels a lot of things good and bad. somethings i think he feels more than other people.

[iracorn]

[Ira will find a way to baffle Sora, just wait.]

Based on that, I would assume that a Heart might be forming. To be Pure Darkness and not a heartless would take considerable willpower.

Again, I don't think there's particular timeline.

you really think so? you think a heart is forming??

that's huge?! you mean it?!?!

i mean he sure does have some serious willpower.

I mean, I can't be certain, but it would strike me as likely.

More likely than just continuing on as a being of Darkness anyway.

[oathkeeper]

yeah. yeah, you're right! i guess i should figure out a way to see if he already has a heart forming or not first!

[And he has a friend that can help him with that part.]

[iracorn]

I'd be curious to know how it goes.

Though, if it is, I would be careful. You wouldn't want to disturb anything.

ahah, yeah i know i have to be careful. i already promised him i wouldn't do anything stupid

but i have to try, you know? i wanna help him

[Why does Ira get the feeling that that is a promise Sora regularly has to make?]

[Because he has to make it a lot. Keeping it on the other hand, well that's the hard part.]
