I. CAN'T. TAKE IT ANYMORE!
WHERE THE HELL IS ALL THE VALUABLES IN THIS PLACE?! NOT A CENT. NOT A GRIMM. NOT A SINGLE MORSEL OF MONETARY VALUE.
HOWS ANYONE SUPPOSE TO LIVE LIKE THIS?!

I feel like I'm losing my mind.

I already told you, but I guess there's not much going on in that empty head of yours. Actually, I take it back -- I'm surprised, considering you were getting pissy about not getting enough Grimm in your stocking.

You know what, Mammon? You're not even worth arguing with.
[ His anger hasn't subsided at all, and so it takes a herculean effort to shift out of his demon form. But he does so. Not because being in one form or the other is more beneficial to him, but rather so he can pretend like he has some semblance of control over his anger if he's not in his demon form. ]
The truth is that I didn't get Grimm in my stocking, but even someone as stupid as you could have figured that out. But I did arrive here with Grimm, Grimm you'll never find.
[ Because, you know, Mammon already has it. ]
You've made it quite clear that as greedy as you are, you're ungrateful for what you're given, so there's no point in telling you where it is.
[ Satan folds his arms and stares pointedly away. At least he's stopped advancing on Mammon. ]
And also, you can starve. Get your own food from now on.

[ He really didn't mean to come off as so rude and ungrateful like he did. It's just the greed in him has been growing more and more it felt like. Every day they spent here this feeling bubbled up in him even further with no way to release it. ]
I-I'll go apologize to Santa!

So, in short - it's a waste of time no matter what.
no subject
[ Okay, he cares a little. Because if he's not, Santa won't give him more gifts but— ]
I care about you not bein' so pissed at me!

Being angry at you isn't worth the energy.
[ Of course, he's still absolutely livid, but he does acknowledge it won't change anything. So instead, he returns the items that scattered off the table when it fell back were they ought to go. ]
I'm sorry you don't have the bustling economy you want here. I'm sure it's difficult to go without the things you're used to having. Obviously, I mean the elaborate parties and the expensive clothes and bags and accessories, not the money. The money only ever lasted you a fraction of a second so I don't understand why you think it's so different here.
Anyway, my point is that I understand you hate it here and you're too incompetent to actually leave. Maybe you can ask Santa Claus to cart you out of here when you talk to him.
In case you didn't realize, by the way, you're still on your own for food.

Uuugh.... he hated this. he HATED THIS. He'd rather Satan be yelling at him than giving him this calm anger. It just made him feel even more guilty. ]
Yeah yeah... On my own, I got it.
[ What was he supposed to do to fix this? Well, there was nothing he could do right now. Satan was calm on the outside but he was sure he needed some space. He frowns a little, shifting back a little further.]
Havin' a pathetic dreamless brother must be annoyin' to always cater to anyway.

[ He never particularly minded cooking for everyone back home. It was convenient, and he liked the rewards of being frugal and getting the best deals. Knowing which stores had their sales on which days, which stores got the most and least foot traffic and at which time of day -- all of it had been fulfilling to him. And even when his brothers asked for twenty-seven different special requests, it was a challenge he didn't mind accepting because he had to be creative to meet everyone's requests.
But even if Satan knows Mammon had no way of knowing Satan was mad because he'd been indirectly insulted, Satan's still angry about it. And cooking for someone who would sell the gifts he'd received, gifts that Satan had put a lot of time, thought and effort into... knowing that Mammon would sell them in an instant if it meant he'd get something more monetarily worthwhile was... infuriating. ]
Regardless, I'm sure it'll all work out for you.
[ Maybe Asmo will show up and the two of them can have their parties and drinking shenanigans or whatever. ]
no subject
I think you mean it'll all work out for you since then you won't have to deal with me.
no subject
[ Says the one who through a literal temper tantrum 2 minutes ago. ]
We're still living together. I'm just not cooking for you. You'll live.
no subject
[ Because lets face it, if Satan told him to get out, he probably would. He'd complain about it, but he'd still get out. ]
no subject
[ He's still fuming on the inside, but -- he's doing his best. Even if he's made, he knows he is still accountable for what he says and does. So even though he'd love to say what's on his mind to make Mammon feel shitty, it's not going to help. Knowing that Satan signed the Grimm as "from Santa Claus" anyway helps. ]
So shut up. You're still my brother. Just because I always got landed with cooking duty at home doesn't mean I have to continue the trend here.
[ But also he still feels like Mammon is ungrateful and doesn't deserve to be cooked for right now. ]
no subject
Yeah yeah I get it. No more cooking. I'm goin' back to my room then.
no subject
Don't starve to death in there.
[ Or do, he wants to add, even though he doesn't mean it. Well, he means it in anger, but as much trouble as he gives Mammon he does, shockingly, prefer Mammon alive. ]
no subject
[ He doesn't bother to stop and see how Satan might react to that. Honestly he was probably still too angry to even care. Instead he just heads to his designated room in the tree house and shuts the door. He doesn't have a lock so instead Satan will probably just hear a chair scrape against the tree floor until it makes a loud thump noise against the door. ]
