Subject: Your experiences in other worlds that are not your own
[ Since her arrival, Zelda has learned two very important things. One, these journals are not private at all and should not be treated as traditional diaries. And, two, it sounds like a not insignificant number of residents in Songerein have experienced travel to other worlds before. It would be to her benefit to learn everything she can from them. ]
To the residents of Songerein,
I understand, from reliable sources, [ Read: herself ] that many among our number have experienced thisworld reality matter of traveling to a different plane of existence before now.
If those of you who have done so would be so kind as to share any pertinent information with those who are new to this endeavor, it will be most appreciated.
[ What counts as "pertinent information?" Zelda doesn't exactly know herself. Hopefully everyone's advice will be more helpful than her request. ]
Cordially,
Zelda

That is what it means to dream, isn't it? The dreams within dreams in this place don't follow that rule, but these aren't our waking bodies to begin with.
no subject
That is true. I believe I left this body behind during the practice dream-walking session as well.
[ It's weird to think about how many degrees of separation there might be between her current consciousness and her physical body, locked in its cocoon in Hyrule. ]
What was the purpose of dream-walking in your world?

[ Ever the scientist, Zelda can't guess what kind of helpful information could be learned from a person's dreams. Dreams are usually just nonsense mashed together by the mind. ]

[Like "What pains are you hiding from me?" "Why won't you let me help shoulder the burden so you don't have to carry it alone?"
Asura doesn't elaborate on that, though, allowing his written answer to Zelda's question to remain vague.]

And were you able to find them?
no subject
Some of them. Enough of them to know that dreamwalking is a worthwhile approach for information gathering in the correct circumstances.

[ She's kind of beating around the bush with her questions. Zelda wants to learn how to dreamwalk, as she doesn't feel like her practice session went very well. Transforming from a pumpkin to a person again was an exhausting challenge and practicing other magic was a struggle. (And that's in addition to how bad she is with magic to begin with.) Zelda wants some help, but she's not even sure if dreamwalking is something that can really be taught. ]
