[ Since her arrival, Zelda has learned two very important things. One, these journals are not private at all and should not be treated as traditional diaries. And, two, it sounds like a not insignificant number of residents in Songerein have experienced travel to other worlds before. It would be to her benefit to learn everything she can from them. ]

To the residents of Songerein,

I understand, from reliable sources, [ Read: herself ] that many among our number have experienced this world reality matter of traveling to a different plane of existence before now.

If those of you who have done so would be so kind as to share any pertinent information with those who are new to this endeavor, it will be most appreciated.

[ What counts as "pertinent information?" Zelda doesn't exactly know herself. Hopefully everyone's advice will be more helpful than her request. ]

[ It's okay, Kor. She honed her ability to use small words with her Champions. She hasn't had to use this skill in a few decades, but from the range of responses to her request, it sounds like she'll be getting plenty of practice. ]

More or less, yes. But if you've had experiences like travelling through time or dreams or something like that, I'd be interested in hearing about it.

I travel through people's hearts all the time though, does that count?

Mmm... I'm not sure how simply I can put it. I dive into people's hearts and help them fight their problems?

[ Sorry, Kor, that still sounds kind of absurd. Unless this is just a weird way of explaining heart surgery, which Zelda really doubts. ]

You can explain it more complicated, if you like. I get the impression that you don't mean literally going inside a heart. The introduction of a foreign body into the cardiovascular system outside of a surgical setting would surely result in heart failure.

Cardio-what now outside of the who? Sorry, I have no clue what you're talking about.

I mean that I go inside them and see their memories and emotions and stuff like that.

[ Crap, she slipped up. She really needs to be more mindful. But for the sake of making any progress in the conversation, Zelda's going to assume that Kor doesn't mean literally entering someone's heart, a la the Magic School Bus or something like that. It's probably figurative/metaphysical, like dreamwalking. ]

So how do you help people fight their problems that way?

Sometimes I help them communicate with their innermost selves, sometimes I repair damage. Sometimes I fight off monsters that are hiding there! It depends on what the situation calls for, and as a Somatic, I have to be prepared for anything!
