I am only curious because I can shift into other shapes outside of the dreamscape as well. In fact, I haven't quite figured out how to do the same within the dreamscapes yet...
sorry for the delay!
( here he marks a quick line to the spot in his chat with hunter where he says, luonto's part of the soul. protects the rest of it. some kind of animal shape. )
leaves you weak if you use it in the real world. have to sleep for days
no worries at all!
Part of the soul... it is similar to the idea of a magical familiar, maybe? Though I've never heard of ones that leave you so weak that you have to sleep for days... that sounds more like my own shapeshifting. If I take the shape of an animal multiple times a day or for a long time, I feel tired too.
How interesting!

it's part of his soul
( pardon him, fully missing the point. )
doesn't feel like a separate thing. doesn't act like one either, except in danger we can send it out to protect us. or someone else
and it does, but sometimes disappears after. needs to rest. comes back to find us when it's done resting. then we can stop resting too.

Ah... I see! What would your luonto be, if you do not mind me asking? It's alright if you don't want to answer!
I just find it very interesting to learn about how magic works in others' realms. It seems as though it's different for everyone!
I hope the owlets haven't given you too much trouble, by the way.
