It's been a couple months now, so i've gotta ask...

Does anybody here actually understand how this dreamotion stuff works?! I tried watching people, I tried asking the locals about it, I tried doing it myself, and it's not making any frickin sense! it's like magic right? so maybe i'm just no good for it, my people aren't exactly known for their skill with astral artes.

Unless somebody can actually teach me maybe I should just give up. It's not like I actually need this stuff, right?

What seems to help most succeed is to strongly visualize the effect you hope to have. That is always a sound place to start. Empty your mind of everything but that image, and channel everything you feel into willing it into being.

I'm supposed to visualize what I want... and empty my mind? How am I supposed to visualize anything if I have to keep my head empty though? It's not empty if I'm still thinking of something, right?

Perhaps I phrased that poorly. You must empty your mind of everything else aside from that very specific want so that you might see it unclouded, what it is your heart desires to manifest.

This is so complicated, no wonder i don't get this crap.

{He's overcomplicating it for himself, like what if when he empties his mind he can't unempty it and he's forgotten everything??]

I find it to be quite simple in concept. I think, perhaps, you are thinking about it too hard. Making it more difficult than it need be— which would, of course, make it difficult to you to perform.

How do I make it less complicated then? Whenever people try to explain it to me, it just sounds way over my head.

The way i train now's all second nature stuff to me.

Perhaps by walking through it with a training partner? Step by step. The act of learning by doing is often more intuitive, and would be in line with how you approach your training as-is.

That's what I really need, yeah. Dad taught me how to fight by sparring with me every day, not by lecturing me on how to fight.

We could practice together, if you think it might be of some help. In truth, I am still learning, as well, though I have had a good amount of success. I could help you to do the same.
