[ooc: yep that's it that's the post, and it is anonymous! Eustace also can't believe he's doing this but boy he needs it. Those who respond can either be anonymous or have their handle visible. Threads are also completely open to anyone so they can see responses. Eustace's responses will be anon by default (don't make me put the label every time please—)]

Isn't that just spoiling them with unnecessary luxury?
[He took it a little too far—]
no subject
[No, he didn't.]
Who wouldn't want to be spoiled by a romantic partner?
no subject
What if they don't like being spoiled too much?
[A legitimate concern as he thinks about Tifa's independent personality... He's trying to think how she really felt about being treated like a princess back in that dreamscape, HMMM.]
no subject
Spoil them anyway! If you're worried about overdoing it, you can do it in, like, small doses. Do something together that they like, maybe.
[Hey, that's almost good advice!]
no subject
[...Maybe...]
This will obviously depend on the individual, but what are some common examples for a young woman?
no subject
[Which is still weird, but she's had time to adjust to that at least.]
Or if she's not the shopping-type, maybe a nice walk? It's starting to warm up, and there are some really pretty early-spring flowers that will be blooming soon.
no subject
Both seem fair options.
[With the walk preferable.]
And if I wanted to get her a gift... I realize everyone has their own tastes, but any advice on that?
[As it occurs to him that Oriphi and Hilda are the only girls who commented so far—]
no subject
[Please don't try to make her a necklace out of tree bark and a rock like her classmate once did for his sister.]
If that feels like too big of a step, flowers are always a winner. There are some really nice flower shops in town!

Anything I should NOT do?

Just don't be weird about it. Don't make creepy passes at her that she clearly doesn't want, and don't spend all of your time together talking about how amazing you are. Oh, and don't tell her that you think she would be a great bride because of how noble she is or whatever. That's usually pretty off-putting.
[Thanks, Sylvain and Lorenz, for the examples of What Not To Do.]
Honestly? I think with all the advice you've gotten here you're going to do great. ♥ You'll tell us how the date goes, right?
no subject
[Who...would even... No. At least he's safe from that.
As to her question—]
No.

[Hilda... this post is anonymous for a reason.....]

[With the whole emotions thing.
If she ever sees a couple being all sunshine and rainbows or have a heavy cloud over them, she can just guess it's them—]

[Don't hold out on her!!!]
no subject
[Holds out foreeeevvveeeer.]

[She wants to know who you are, random stranger!!]

[Hilda doesn't expect a reply, and doesn't plan on dragging this out further, but she wants her displeasure known.]
