[open] invitation of windblume!
Sender: Venti
To: Everyone!
Subject: A rose by any other name is still a rose!
Hello there! It appears that this world is entering its Spring Solstice and with such a season brings new life and new flowers to everything the sun touches! I'd like to share with you a tradition during this time of year from my homeland, the beautiful and free city of Mondstadt. And that is the Windblume festival.
During this time of year, many will offer flowers in tribute to the god of freedom! Yet, what is more important is the tradition of gifting flowers to those you love and hold dear. The choice of flowers can say a lot about a person's feelings! When gifting precious flowers to those you love and adore the carefully picked flower should be one that means something to you and that precious relationship.
While this time of year doesn't necessarily have to mean these gestures are romantic there is another tradition of sending your most adored one a love poem. A perfect time to be confessing your heart's song to the one who holds your heart! Ehe, isn't that lovely?
I, as a travelling bard, have spent many years seeing the Windblume season! And with it, I have written hundreds of poems and know exactly how to weave love's verse. I would like to offer my assistance in helping you find the words to write your own love letter or poem to the one you hold dear or wish to confess to! Do tell me all about the one you hold in your heart and allow me to help you craft the words to express your heart's feelings.
Please, it would be my pleasure!
[Spill the tea on your love lives and in return Venti will help you confess in a love letter! Come on, get spilling! He loves the gossip!]

Of course, feelings are never going to be as simple as words to a page. But the things that you can express with them can reflect the depths of any heart.
How would you express something as powerful as love?
no subject
[excuse you, beatrix is the sweetest apple, ok]I personally would not.
[She almost doesn't bother writing anything beyond that, but...]
Some things are too complicated to be expressed. At least not without seeming foolish in the process of doing so.
no subject
Have you ever felt the urge to say something? Even if it makes you feel foolish?
no subject
[On the contrary, the thought of saying something heartfelt or something that would leave her vulnerable is more frightening that a battlefield. She'll fight in another war, drive herself into a conquest she doesn't understand, before she comfortably expresses something even remotely close to affection.]
Fickle things, such as the matter of these sentiments, are not necessities. They are burdens and impositions.
no subject
Of course, he picks not to push someone who might not be ready for that. But not without a few pokes and prodding...]
When you are in love you know no fear or hatred. When you are in love it feels like a breath of oxygen in your lungs. When you are in love it feels like any sort of burden or imposition will never be able to hold you to the ground.
That sort of feeling can take courage. Of course, only if you wish to take that leap! When you find that sometimes unnecessary things are necessary.

[Venti sounds like he'd get along great with other people she knows. It's like they're multiplying.]
Some of us have no interest in such things. Although I have no intentions of stopping anyone else from their excursions into this. I am certain many will benefit from your poetic justice you seem keen to deliver.
no subject
[Thanking her for calling him ridiculous? Yeah!]
Love has a tendency to sneak up on anyone when they least expect it. That's why it's ridiculous, indeed! Ehe!
I'm more than happy to help others express their feelings in a unique way! If it brings a smile or two to someone's face? Then my job as a bard is complete!
[Perhaps someday she'll have her own reasons to smile over love! He's cheering her on!!]
no subject
But Beatrix is just jaded every which way.]
And what about all of the people you encourage to this folly who suffer as a result? It is irresponsible to interfere in these matters. Lovers' affairs ought to stay betwixt those involved. You have no place in it.
no subject
But if he can put at least a sliver of thought towards love into someone's heart? That's fine.]
Oh, how have I put myself into someone else's romance? Beside helping them along with a poem or two the story is ultimately up to them! Not me!
As for the suffering or heartbreak that might follow? That is part of a love story as well. Sometimes love stories don't have a happy ending and that's something that should be accepted. But to love is better than to never have loved at all! Write the story to the very end! And if it is tragic? There is always time to heal and write again.

I think it is not your place to determine when someone is or is not ready to face whatever repercussions they may have in the face of their affairs.
That said, I doubt very much you will be taking my input seriously. You seem to be quite proud of yourself.
no subject
If you're read all the exchanges perhaps you're more interested in love than you seem to think! Ehe! Are you looking for something specific, my dear?
[Yes. He's very proud of himself.]
no subject
I read the other exchanges because I wanted to know if you were poking your nose into every single situation that was brought your way.
[Yes, from what she can tell. She suspects some people were smart enough to keep themselves on the 'down low.' He can't see it, but surely he can hear the jaw set and Beatrix grind her teeth at the notion of someone calling her 'my dear.']
no subject
[Okay, so he is meddling. Just a little bit. But he isn't ashamed of that.]
Now, what situation do you find yourself in? I'll keep it a bard's secret if that's what you need.
no subject
Does he sense a particular flame of fury for some unknown reason? Because that's probably her.]
I am not in any kind of situation. I am not the sort of woman to be involved in such fickle circumstances.
[bark bark bark bark bark]
no subject
As you've said! Well, if your fickle circumstances change you know where you can contact me! I'll be happy to help.
no subject
[Seriously. Who describes a spar as 'invigorating?']
no subject
Are you saying you had the chance to feel that way in the first place? Stumble over your words or say something silly before you could think the thought out well?
[Must be a crush, right? Ehe.]
Try not to be too hard on yourself! It does happen. Especially when the heart is aflutter.
no subject
[Which is, for the most part, true. Shockingly.]
I say what I mean and I own what I choose to share. I also do not say 'silly' things.
no subject
[Does he believe her? It's hard to say.]
Well! I hope you do manage to find something that does make you feel silly someday. And I hope you feel it with an open heart. It's not so bad once you see it for what it is.
no subject
[No.
No, she won't.]
no subject
Why thank you!
