Hello there! It appears that this world is entering its Spring Solstice and with such a season brings new life and new flowers to everything the sun touches! I'd like to share with you a tradition during this time of year from my homeland, the beautiful and free city of Mondstadt. And that is the Windblume festival.

During this time of year, many will offer flowers in tribute to the god of freedom! Yet, what is more important is the tradition of gifting flowers to those you love and hold dear. The choice of flowers can say a lot about a person's feelings! When gifting precious flowers to those you love and adore the carefully picked flower should be one that means something to you and that precious relationship.

While this time of year doesn't necessarily have to mean these gestures are romantic there is another tradition of sending your most adored one a love poem. A perfect time to be confessing your heart's song to the one who holds your heart! Ehe, isn't that lovely?

I, as a travelling bard, have spent many years seeing the Windblume season! And with it, I have written hundreds of poems and know exactly how to weave love's verse. I would like to offer my assistance in helping you find the words to write your own love letter or poem to the one you hold dear or wish to confess to! Do tell me all about the one you hold in your heart and allow me to help you craft the words to express your heart's feelings.

[Meanwhile, Venti has gotten quite the juicy little tidbit of information on Thoma too but for now he might let it slip until Venti can pick the precise time to slide in a note about Thoma.

A Lamp Grass bloom looks much like a blue glowing lantern hanging from a stem with large green leaves protecting it. They are delicate looking but much stronger than they appear.

Venti receives a charming little drawing of what she thinks Lamp Grass looks like, based on his description. It's naturally a little inaccurate, given her circumstances and the fact that she's not an artist, but the intent is there! ]

Diluc told me he would try to show me how Mondstadt's flowers look with dreamotion, but now I think I'd like to surprise him by trying to do it myself!

Ehe, are you an artist as well, dear Oriphi? That's an almost perfect depiction! I'm sure if you were able to grow these for Diluc they would glow as brightly as ever for him thanks to your love!

But I am curious! Aren't their other flowers that might interest you?

Not at all! Plants are just about the only thing I can draw. I try to keep notes of all the flowers and plants I find. My friend from home, Cibark, is a real artist though and maybe some of his talent rubbed off on me whenever I watched him draw!

How about windwheel asters? I would love to learn about those, too! You said they "continue to grow and spin and don't look back at any sort of hardship," which is such a wonderful sentiment!

And that's correct! Windwheel Asters are popular across Mondstadt. There isn't a particular place where they can't grow. It's almost as if they could roam all on their own and never look back. They tend to shine red and spin in the wind like a pinwheel.

You're welcome! That is really so sweet of you to say, Venti. I do really love flowers, too, and I'm happy that you appreciate them as well.

[ And as for the Windwheel Aster... she takes to drawing again, sending forth another little illustration for Venti to evaluate. It's hard to picture how a flower could look and spin like an actual windmill, but she can definitely picture a flower that looks a bit like a windwheel. ]

Is this close...? I really would love to try to recreate these flowers, even if they're not going to be the real thing. Do you think that would be a nice gesture, for this Windblume tradition?

Another almost perfect depiction, my dear Oriphi! The petals tend to be slightly more pointed at the tip but you nearly have it! Wonderful!

If not, he's really nice and friendly! And he's from Mondstadt too, so maybe it would be nice if he had another little reminder of his homeland.
