Subject: Sealing and Teleportation Magic

I have two inquiries to those who are familiar with magic.

RE: SEALING MAGIC
I'd like to know if anyone knows a way to cast some kind of sealing or restraining magic on an accessory or item that could be used to suppress one's own magic or curse. If need a more specific situation, an emergency case where one's powers are running out of control and needs to be contained. The ideal goal would be that it could affect nightmare energy, but that might be more difficult without further knowledge.

[He is definitely asking for specific reasons, but good thing there have been several occasions where things went wildly out of control last month that it won't seem too random.]

RE: TELEPORTATION MAGIC
Similarly, I wish to create some kind of portal that would allow me to easily traverse between my home and other locations that I currently own with potential to add on in the future. [Because it's about time he just accepts he owns these dogs and getting to the Corgi Tree and the Flowers home more instantaneously would be ideal. Though already future proofing? What could he be considering...] Ideally it would be a door with a function to change the location.

This might be a complicated request, if it's even possible, but even just information on how it might work will be appreciated.

[Shit. She and Eustace hadn't exactly gotten off on the right foot, but multiple parties have said she ought to give it another shot— Tifa, especially, and given her own relationship with the woman in question, didn't she owe it to her?

Even if that weren't the case, the sort of magic Eustace is asking about is pretty damn relevant to her.]

Don't know about how to create a seal like that offhand, but I'm interested enough in the end result that I'd be willing to help, if I can.

I do know a little something about teleportation magic, but only for moving a single person a short distance. Never seen a door like the kind you're talking about. Feels like someone here must have, though.

I imagine others would also be interested so it's likely the end result will become known to be further developed. [Who wouldn't want handy doors that open to specific locations?] But tell me about the magic you know.

Still working out how to replicate it with dreamotion here, but it's coming along. Back home it was kind of like opening a portal only I could see? Some shit like that. Just focused on where I wanted to be, and it worked.

Not that simple here, but I've made it a few steps. Comes in handy when you're trying not to get hit by something. Don't see why you couldn't make a door that did something like that, too. Trick would be keeping it stable, but the whole thing about this place is there aren't a whole lot of limits, right?

The alternative would be having some kind of spell or talisman to open a portal to traverse through on command. A little less convenient if the dogs need me, but it would still work for my purposes. It may also be something to looked into regardless as I would not be locked into one location.

It would probably be a good place to start, anyway. Easier to move one person than have something static standing around indefinitely, waiting to port people wherever, so could try the talisman thing and work your way up.

Probably people better for the job than me, but it's a damn good idea. Real useful.

How the hell do you keep up with all of them? They need a lot of attention, right?

They do, but it's not too bad. They're quite intelligent and can look after themselves for the most part.

But I have additional help as well.

Good thing, or else you'd be walking and feeding them nonstop. Wouldn't have time for much else.

Think the teleportation would work both ways? If they're pretty smart, they should be able to use it to get to you if they need, too, right?

That wouldn't necessarily be a negative.

But I'm not sure if I would trust them with a teleportation device they could use independently. They're smart, sometimes too smart. I can easily imagine the younger ones getting into trouble with something like that.

No? I mean, you'd get to hang out with them, but you wouldn't have a lot of time to spend on other important stuff. Or important people.

Might be kind of fun to see what trouble they got up to. I bet the little ones are real scrappy. But... alright, maybe not such a great idea.

Of course current situation doesn't allow it. However, this world has a lot less for me to actually be concerned about. If I had the option to spend that much time to just live quiet and peacefully with my dogs and those I care about, then that would be fine with me.

[Yeah, sure, realistically it's not possible and it's why he does have people help out cos he does have current obligations. But if he didn't...yeah just being with the dogs and ~~his wife~~ Tifa and occasional visitors? Suits him just fine.]

If there was a way to limit where they could go then it might be more favorable. It would also act as an extra security measure so that they could teleport somewhere to safety.

That could probably be worked out. Hell, anything is possible here, right? Just have to figure out how to put it into effect, but seems like if you could figure out teleportation, it's reasonable that you could put limits on it somehow. Otherwise, the hell is the point of being in a dreamworld?

[She doesn't mind that they have to work for some things, of course, but the idea that anything is possible is pretty appealing, even if it's probably a little too broad and lofty to be true.]

Either way, might make things easier on you if something like this can get set up. Might give you and Tifa a little more time together if you're not so busy going back and forth all the time.

I think she's still shy about it. But then again, I never really saw the merit in publicly announcing anything except to keep pests away.

She's got a lot of admirers. Don't need to make a big announcement or anything, don't see the point in that, but being open about it might not be such a bad idea for keeping them at arm's length.
