Subject: Sealing and Teleportation Magic

I have two inquiries to those who are familiar with magic.

RE: SEALING MAGIC
I'd like to know if anyone knows a way to cast some kind of sealing or restraining magic on an accessory or item that could be used to suppress one's own magic or curse. If need a more specific situation, an emergency case where one's powers are running out of control and needs to be contained. The ideal goal would be that it could affect nightmare energy, but that might be more difficult without further knowledge.

[He is definitely asking for specific reasons, but good thing there have been several occasions where things went wildly out of control last month that it won't seem too random.]


RE: TELEPORTATION MAGIC
Similarly, I wish to create some kind of portal that would allow me to easily traverse between my home and other locations that I currently own with potential to add on in the future. [Because it's about time he just accepts he owns these dogs and getting to the Corgi Tree and the Flowers home more instantaneously would be ideal. Though already future proofing? What could he be considering...] Ideally it would be a door with a function to change the location.

This might be a complicated request, if it's even possible, but even just information on how it might work will be appreciated.

[......This is. Exactly as he feared. To think he'd actually meet someone with the same powers as Diaspora...

He rubs his brows, thinking how to handle this. At least this is just an individual person and.... ....]

How big of an area do your powers affect? does it require a direct touch or can it affect a larger area?

[ The area of effect, ah. Well, that's a hard thing to really pinpoint. ]

I guess that would depend on the phrobiest and their power. For me, it doesn't require direct touch, but I definitely need to see the object I'm working on if it's far away. But I can also work up close and if it's in my grasp then the manipulation is immediate. [ But that's when he's in control. ]

It's a bit...different when I lose control though. I...I guess I get these black tendrils that can reach pretty far and those contain my powers as well. So they can affect a large area.

[...Yep, Shigeru is bumping up pretty high on his priority list.]

How many times have you lost control in the past?

Three times at the most. But the circumstances were...they were bad so I...I couldn't really help it.

[ He doesn't want to go into those details at all. Shigeru still has nightmares about Jern specifically so he'd rather not talk about the man if he doesn't have to. ]

[He can sense the hesitation and he also realizes he's hitting very personal territory. But he has to push just a little.]

I know it's a difficult topic, but the more I know, the better I can help you better prepare in case something happens.

[He's still uncertain if he should let him know he's familiar with having such a threat, but he refrains for now, not wanting to cause undue stress or worry on Shigeru's part.]

Of course if it's something that would likely never happen here, then you don't have to say anything. I've gotten the basic gist of it at least.

It won't! I...I mean I don't think it will. The situations that caused it to happen...things like that don't seem to happen here, so...

Nightmare energy is still something you'll need to consider.

[ Listen. Shigeru will be fine...maybe? He's fine. Everything is fine. ]

I-I know! I...I'm going to try my best to not let it get to me but having nightmares is something I can't really help!!

[ Maybe if he just talked about his traumas and worked through it he probably could, but he doesn't want to!!! ]

You don't have to worry about me. I'll be fine here as long as I just don't get super stressed out?

[Not convinced and for the very reasons Shigeru is not wanting to do!! But also, understandable. Eustace also realizes he can't "nag" on the poor guy too much as that won't help matters, either, so he'll ease up a little.]

I'll hold you to it, and I'll make sure we work out a power suppressant for you. Just don't keep anything to yourself if you do feel stressed. If you've made any friends or met other people you can trust, let them know.

[ Even if he is coming off a bit strong Shigeru doesn't blame the other man. At least not there's someone here who's actively looking into how to prevent him from turning in the worst-case scenarios. ]
