Subject: Sealing and Teleportation Magic

I have two inquiries to those who are familiar with magic.

RE: SEALING MAGIC
I'd like to know if anyone knows a way to cast some kind of sealing or restraining magic on an accessory or item that could be used to suppress one's own magic or curse. If need a more specific situation, an emergency case where one's powers are running out of control and needs to be contained. The ideal goal would be that it could affect nightmare energy, but that might be more difficult without further knowledge.

[He is definitely asking for specific reasons, but good thing there have been several occasions where things went wildly out of control last month that it won't seem too random.]

RE: TELEPORTATION MAGIC
Similarly, I wish to create some kind of portal that would allow me to easily traverse between my home and other locations that I currently own with potential to add on in the future. [Because it's about time he just accepts he owns these dogs and getting to the Corgi Tree and the Flowers home more instantaneously would be ideal. Though already future proofing? What could he be considering...] Ideally it would be a door with a function to change the location.

This might be a complicated request, if it's even possible, but even just information on how it might work will be appreciated.

It can definitely feel like a lot... But you're right. I think you heard Rhonwhen, too. She was saying something about love and wanting to spend more time with you, I think?

[ With her hands on her hips, she looks at him proudly. ]

You did great! What do you think? Do you feel like you'll be able to start understanding them with more practice?

That's what I thought I heard...

[A small smile as he reaches over to pet the corgi's head, her expression content.]

And I believe so. It helps that now I can remember the general feeling for it rather than trying to start from nothing like before.

Of course! Any time I'm trying something new with dreamotion here, I always try to think about similar experiences from before with magic from home. That usually works out.

[ Ori nods, very sagely. She may not look or act it most of the time, but she does have a high Wisdom score! She's more than happy to try and impart some of that advice to help Eustace with something that's clearly quite important to him. She earnestly believes that he'll manage to regain his ability to speak with animals in due time.

With a smile, she reaches over and pets some of the dogs with both of her hands. They deserve some praise as well, after all. ]

You guys did great, too!

[They bark happily, and are definitely going to try and communicate with Eustace!! They want their dad to understand exactly when they're hungry and what they really want to eat—]

Looks like they're restless. Before they can have their meal, we should have them exercise.

[And there is definitely a bit of a sly grin as he Eustace looks at them. Really he could tell they were thinking about food and the way a few of them howl and grumble tells him he's right.]

[ She laughs at his remark, suspecting that the dogs will make some kind of fuss over having to exercise before getting their meal. But mostly she’s happy that they made such good progress today, and she hopes that soon Eustace will be able to truly converse with his dogs. ]

Exercise, huh? I know just the thing to get them moving!

[ And with that, Ori moves to a more open spot and shifts into a canine form, something bigger and able to take on a bunch of corgis as she offers a loud bark of her own and invites them to play and wrestle a bit! Hopefully that tuckers them out enough for dinner! ]

Resist the sudden desire to want to cuddle— But now, it's hard to deny that even though he knows it's Ori, she's still heckin cute as a dog dammit. And the corgis will take the bait, their barks more excited as they rush in and Eustace just quietly smiles to himself as he takes the attention of the older ones who are less inclined to wrestle with those spirited young ones and prefer their own toys. Eustace will also open the door so they can run outside as well.

...If he threw a toy at Ori would she catch it—]

[ Unfortunately (?) for Eustace and fortunately for Ori's pride, she only looks like a dog right now, and mentally she's still entirely herself. Which is why there's a very calculated, practiced way in how she moves as a dog; she's still in complete control.

(But he should totally throw a toy at her to see what happens.)

She corrals the the more energetic corgis outside when Eustace opens the door for them, effecively shepherding the herding dogs with her size, and she'll continue to play with and chase them around out there. ]

[THIS WOULD BE A PERFECT WAY TO FADE OUT....

...

But no, there must be a bonus scene, and that is Eustace throwing the balls and frisbees at the dogs...and then lobbing one right at Oriphi.

An accident? Deliberate? Who knows—]

[ Eustace throws the ball just as Ori does a good ol' sit to catch her breath—

—but her senses are sharp, especially as a dog! When she sees the ball hurtling towards her, she quickly turns her head and snaps at the ball, catching it in her mouth.

Her little dog eyes squint at Eustace. Nice try. ]

[She might not want to look so smug because........

There's definitely a smirk playing at his lips before looks away innocently.]

[ Why shouldn't she continue to look smug?? Is the ball rigged to self-destruct in her mouth or something?? ]

[No he's just going to remember this image forever.

And do this.]

Good girl, bring it back.

[Even does the tongue clicks for good measure—]

[ Okay no she's going to drop the ball and then turn around and walk away BYE ]

[And he's just going to laugh because that's exactly what he expected. And he won't tease her too much more for the rest of the time... Mostly. It's all in good fun.]
