okay so i've been here a while now and i've noticed something

i don't know the exact process of how the gods or people or whatever here pick people to help out

i don't know if it's completely random or an intricate process to determine who helps out but lately i've been leaning towards the latter for two reasons

one, i haven't met a single jerk or bully or even rude person here which is legit amazing and awesome BUT

IS IT JUST MY IMAGINATION OR IS EVERYONE HERE LIKE INSANELY RIDICIOUSLY GOOD LOOKING

ALL THE ADULTS COULD BE SUPER-MODELS AND ALL THE KIDS COULD BE LIKE THOSE ON HIGH SCHOOL DRAMAS ON TV

i mean this is doing wonders for my own self-confidence regarding my looks but FOR REAL I CANNOT BE THE ONLY ONE TO NOTICE THIS

well it's a big deal to me because every time i see one of these hotties my brain shuts down

That does sound exceedingly inconvenient. Perhaps you might try imagining them as something else, something unlikely to have such an effect yet still capable of being spoken to. A creature perhaps.

As to the rest - who can say? In my experience there is no such thing as "bad guys" and "good guys". After all, one person's hero may be another person's villain. There is little difference between them in the end.

Suppose, for example, the only way for them to save their world is to endanger your own and all that you know. Would you still call them "good"?

huh. imagine them as like puppies or something? very weird, but sometimes weird works. at least it's worth a shot.

well no obviously i wouldn't call them good if it was like that! but we don't know what they're like! and just thinking of all the ways it could be bad won't get me anywhere! that's why i'm choosing to believe in "good". life's hard enough without making into a philosphy class

...and, yes, something like that. After all most people have no difficulty at all interacting with or talking to puppies. In fact, many are prone to changing their voices, raising their pitch and distorting their way of speech until they are scarcely recognizable - not something I would recommend if you are seeking to make a favorable impression with these "hotties" of yours, mind you.

Suppose you were placed in a room full of objectively attractive individuals and forced to engage them in conversation, perhaps over tea. Could you do it?

Still. If you desire to be rid of this weakness of yours, perhaps we should schedule a nice, relaxing tea break at Dreambucks. Although I can't speak to your own tastes, I've a number of friends who may be willing to lend a hand. Or some kinds words, as it were.

I have it on good authority that they are also quite lovely to look upon.

kind of? i mean i know other kids who can have boys and girls over their places whenever they want. but my mom is kind of strict about it??? she doesn't even like the friends i do have. it's complicated.

And for what it's worth: you may consider me your chaperone for this affair, seeing as I'm both far too old and far too tired to serve as anything else.
