okay so i've been here a while now and i've noticed something

i don't know the exact process of how the gods or people or whatever here pick people to help out

i don't know if it's completely random or an intricate process to determine who helps out but lately i've been leaning towards the latter for two reasons

one, i haven't met a single jerk or bully or even rude person here which is legit amazing and awesome BUT

SECOND

IS IT JUST MY IMAGINATION OR IS EVERYONE HERE LIKE INSANELY RIDICIOUSLY GOOD LOOKING

ALL THE ADULTS COULD BE SUPER-MODELS AND ALL THE KIDS COULD BE LIKE THOSE ON HIGH SCHOOL DRAMAS ON TV

i mean this is doing wonders for my own self-confidence regarding my looks but FOR REAL I CANNOT BE THE ONLY ONE TO NOTICE THIS

PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE ELSE HAS NOTICED THIS

I'm relieved that there are so many kind people here, but I cannot say that I've taken your second point into consideration myself. I'm not so sure it's an intrical part of the system as to whom or what decides to bring us here, though.

That does seem like a problem, but if nothing else I'd like to think that's pretty normal at your age to start thinking about that stuff.

It comes with growing up. You have to face that awkward stage eventually. Though, it doesn't matter how old you get. Especially when you're around someone you like.

You would think adults have it all together when we still struggle with that ourselves, sometimes.

i knowwww it's a part of growing up and all that stuff, and i do wanna be an adult super fast! i just wish it could be like FAST fast and i could stop acting like a dumb little kid.

There's nothing wrong with acting like a kid. If nothing else, childhood goes by a lot quicker than you think. Being an adult is not as fun as it seems.

But there's nothing wrong with wanting to grow up. I just advise taking advantage of the time you have left as a kid before it's gone.

That differs with each person, but I suggest spend as much time with your loved ones as you can. It's a little tougher here, but you never know when your friends here will wake up.

Otherwise, try to do the things you've always wanted to, within reason.

As an adult, you'll be expected to have more responsibilities and less time to yourself. Cherish the freedom you have right now.

[It's like talking to Lyna while she was young. Mostly because Lyna once protested that she wanted to become an adult as soon as she could too. He can't help his fatherly instints kicking in.]

I dunno, the stuff I always wanted to do isn't really "doable" in this world. Like, I've always wanted to go to a concert with my favorite boyband. Can't do that here. I've also always wanted to binge out on junk food, but I also know that can't be good for me, dream world or not.

Some junk food wouldn't be the worst thing in rations. What do you mean by 'boyband'? My assumption is they play music if you're saying it's a concert.

It's likely not the type of music you're used to, but I wouldn't mind playing something for you sometime if you'd like.

Just the flute for me, but I've always wanted to learn how to play guitar too! Maybe drums! Enough to help out a band! And singing its own instrument too!

I could start a band here. And that would help me understand other bands better.

[ And maybe 4town would want to sing with them. And invite them on tours. And date them. And marry them. And - yeah, Mei is just in fantasy land now. ]
