okay so i've been here a while now and i've noticed something

i don't know the exact process of how the gods or people or whatever here pick people to help out

i don't know if it's completely random or an intricate process to determine who helps out but lately i've been leaning towards the latter for two reasons

one, i haven't met a single jerk or bully or even rude person here which is legit amazing and awesome BUT

SECOND

IS IT JUST MY IMAGINATION OR IS EVERYONE HERE LIKE INSANELY RIDICIOUSLY GOOD LOOKING

ALL THE ADULTS COULD BE SUPER-MODELS AND ALL THE KIDS COULD BE LIKE THOSE ON HIGH SCHOOL DRAMAS ON TV

i mean this is doing wonders for my own self-confidence regarding my looks but FOR REAL I CANNOT BE THE ONLY ONE TO NOTICE THIS

PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE ELSE HAS NOTICED THIS

[ So while her brain doesn't go completely dead (sorry???), her shout probably got his attention that this young preteen oogling him is, in fact, Mei. ]

[The shout catches his attention. Ah, so this is Mei...

Her reaction gives Aether a pause and an awkward smile soon spreads on his face as he walks up to her, waving slightly. His cheeks may be slightly reddened too. He didn't think she's serious!]

Yes, that's exactly it. I've been travelling for as long as I can remember and I've seen many incredible places... but my journey is far from over!

It's actually difficult to pick only one... I've been to a chamber that floats in the sky, an ancient city that was hidden deep underground, a realm with isles floating in the clouds with nothing below, an island that had giant seashells that let you climb them up like stairs and a shrine was on top of it... I could go on.

[He laughs gently.]

Whoaaa! I wish I could have seen all that! You must be all, like, worldly and wise and smart now!

Well, as I said before, travelling is what I did almost whole my life. I've seen quite a bit.

[Especially, considering that he's been alive much longer than he looks.]

What do you think about this world? I've only ever been... well, home and here. I kind of wish I could do what you do - traveling anywhere and everywhere!

I think it's quite fascinating. We're in a dreamworld, after all. You never know what will happen next.

Oh, I feel the same way! And... well, even though that makes it pretty scary, it does make it pretty exciting too.

Don't worry. If you ever need help, you can count on me. I can fight and I'm good at helping other people out.

[He laughs softly.]

Don't worry! I'm learning how to fight too! I've got a guy teaching me sword stuff, and a great lady showing me how to use my fists! Just you wait and see, I'll be unstoppable!

[ probably not, but it's nice to dream. ]
