You ever just.

Lock yourself in your room for like a month and forget what time is? I mean, I guess I ate at least, and I didn't just fall asleep for a whole freakin' month like after the Medjed thing but

like

a whole. Month. Least it was fruitful.

Which uh, leads me to my actual question: who has some technology here with 'em? Phones, laptops, things that require a power source cause I think I figured out some dream crystal things, but it might require a more... ambient dream energy. Dunno how THAT is gonna be harnessed yet, but I need to know my many sleepless nights and curryless days weren't for nothing. Testing on my own stuff is fine, but knowing it's not just a fluke is even better.

Hey, no problem! I'm sure it'll be fine. [ Couldn't be that much worse than some other people's apartments that she's seen before. ] I'll be there in a bit!

[ It takes her a bit of time before she actually arrives, mostly because she went to grab some cookies to bring as well, since it only felt right to bring something when going over to someone else's house. But when she finally does arrive she knocks on the door.

And she might have forgotten to warn about who and what she is, but surely that's fine. ]

[It's not TERRIBLE for when Amy arrives, just some normal mess you'd expect to find in a lived-in house or room, and there's room to sit so Futaba would call that a win-win situation here.

Once the knock comes, the door opens and there's a moment of "wait, WHOMST—" but with Futaba... well. She's very much the kind of person to not be super surprised, and she was partnered with a talking cat... it's actually more cool than anything for her! There's a smile that comes with her words.]

Oh, uh, h-hey! You had a ph-phone, right? Weird tech? [Weird tech is her jam and she's excited to pull apart a phone that is a lot more weird than she's used to. She'll swing the door open more for Amy to walk on in.] Y-you can set up anywhere y-you're comfortable, I think I r-really only have water right now, i-if you want some!

[ Amy smiles as she enters the house, and if she notices Futaba's initial surprise she doesn't say anything about it. Instead she glances around the house, and while it's nice super neat, it's still pretty clean and feels lived in and cozy. ]

Yeah, that's me! I'm Amy Rose, it's nice to meet you in person. [ She finds a clear spot to take a seat. ] I'm good for now, thanks!

[ Then reaching into her bag, she pulls out the phone in question and hands it to Futaba. ] Here you go. This was the phone I got from the last place I was at, and it used some kind of magitech, so I'm not really sure how different it is from a regular phone.
