Hi everyone! Tifa and Eustace here.

Some of you already know that Eustace and I are getting married this winter but consider this our official announcement. And an invitation!

The wedding ceremony will be at the Corgi Tree at 2PM and will be closed to friends only. However, we will be holding the reception at 5PM along the Riverside and will be open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend, even if just to grab a free meal. Directions are provided.

So, I've been wondering what kind of traditions you all have in your own worlds? I've never been to one before myself, so I'd love to hear about things you've all seen or done! Maybe even borrow a few to start out a few new Reverein traditions.



OOC NOTE: ALL characters are welcome to the reception regardless of whether or not they have CR with Tifa and/or Eustace! There will be a log will be going up on December 3 for this, so please look forward to it! Both Tifa and Eustace will be responding.

Sounds like this'll be a first for a lot of people.

That sounds like a deal to me. Do you have any ideas for what kind of wedding you two might like?

Well, at least I won't be wearing those crazy feathers next time. Just a dress, which I think might be a little more manageable, yeah? Maybe I should get you to come around and help me practice before the big day.

I just read that out loud to the dogs and they all seem interested. How would you feel about bringing some by? I could see about replicating it for the dinner.

Ohh. Who's Shiki? A friend from home?

At least this time, you won't have to worry about that.

That does kind of nice, though. What was it like?

A paopu fruit has the power to tie two people's destinies together! If you share one together it'll mean you'll always find each other no matter what.

If you need directions, I could help with that. Though, with the size it sounds like it's going to be, we won't be very hard to find if you just follow the river through town.

That sounds kind of romantic... A vow to be together, even without all the legal stuff tying two people to one another? I guess, in a way, that's how it is here. I'm not even sure there's anything we need to do in a place like this.

Did your sisters celebrate anything at all? Or was it more simple?

So much pressure! You're putting me on the spot. What kinds of flavours would you recommend?

[She's a little nervous about it, if she's being completely honest. Even though Eustace is sitting right next to her.]

Yes, I can bring some over later after work so we can make plenty of them for the reception. I am more than happy to share dog treat recipes to people at all.

I believe it's up to the people that are getting married, but most people I've seen just said 'I do.'

As you may imagine, most of the weddings I attended are formal events, with a priest or similar figure confirming the vows and declaring them married.

[You know, he's had a couple of existential crisis, but he's fine otherwise.]

I've been well, but I'm doing far better now that there's a wedding on the horizon. It's been a while since I attended one and they're always a bright occasion to attend.

I imagine your excitement and joy to be even greater, along with some nervousness.
