Earth has plenty of countries that span cultures, ethnicities and geographies. Some are landlocked while others have water nearby. Russia is a big country that has plenty of ethnicities under one roof and the same could apply to England and other countries too.

Haha, thanks. And I agree, mystery novels are kind of cool. They really keep you guessing.

Wait I gotta ask. If you're a lawyer's assistant, does that mean you know Samurai Lawyer?

You're not wrong. I mean, I was pretty trash with my own abilities before I learned how to use them properly. And just cause your talents aren't like, some wild superpower doesn't mean they're useless.

Okay now I'm curious. What's your favourite kind of pie to make?

I still think it might be nice to be able to do something a little more impressive, but I guess having every day skills is better for someone that generally does every day stuff.

That's such a hard question! I mean, I don't know if I'd say it's my favorite, but I guess I do like making apple pies. I mean, they're pretty basic and if I show up somewhere with an apple pie, chances are high that everyone will like it.

Perhaps, but doing paperwork doesn't quite have the same weight as putting your own life at risk. Some might even say my profession is a necessary evil, depending on who you talk to.

We're not perfect, and sometimes the law lets the true culprit slip through the cracks.

Well, if you're wanting to learn something new while you're here, you can always learn some new Dreamotion magic. I've seen some pretty wild stuff done by people with it. Maybe you can learn to do something with it yourself?

Ohh, apple pie is pretty good. I mean, who doesn't like apples? If someone doesn't like apples that's pretty suspicious, isn't it?

I don't know much about law myself, other than what I hear about in the news. It must really suck if a criminal gets away on some technicality, huh?

Yeah, I know him. He's a friend, kinda. He's also the first lawyer I've met who's also a samurai.
