I have less students in my homeroom than I do fingers on my hand

I was thinking about the same thing as well.

Guess it is my time to do then:
1. At one point, I have 3 older sisters and a younger brother.
2. My parents ran a farm in the countryside.
3. Me, my dog and two friends went on a very long trip around Europe to Paris.

Hmm. I'm gonna have to go with 2 being the lie? And if 3 is true, that sounds pretty cool. I always heard Paris was a neat city to visit.

That is right. Number 2 is the lie. My family didn’t run a farm but they used to run, um, a much larger place in my world for centuries.

Originally, the trip was supposed to be taken on a train primarily but things went upside down during the train portion so we had to take other means of transportation just to get there. Oh yes, Paris is a wonderful city to go. My grandmama happens to live in there herself.

Huh. Sounds pretty neat though. And honestly, what kind of trip doesn't end with things going upside down?

That so? So you're French then? I'm from Japan.

I’m originally from Russia, but I have relatives all over Europe. My Grandmama was Danish by birth but she married my grandfather who’s Russian a long time ago and a similar case happened with Mama who was raised in England before she married Papa.

Huh. Sounds like your family got around a lot. Mine's only ever been in Japan, so unless I have some long-lost relative out in Brazil or something mine's pretty boring compared to yours.

Well, as boring as a jujutsu clan can be, but you know. Relatively speaking and all.

Yes quite so. Marriages between Europeans from different countries are very common place in my world so it is inevitable that I have relatives in various countries.

(When you have a maternal great grandmother whose descendants married to other European royal and noble houses, the amount of extended family members can be very, very vast.)

Oh, you do jujutsu at home? I never heard of it before. Can you describe to me what it is like to practice it?

Sounds like it. You could probably find some long-lost relative in Istanbul and wouldn't bat an eye, huh?

I'm not surprised. Jujutsu's a type of sorcery used to purify cursed spirits. So you could think of it as a kind of exorcism technique.

Yes, that would sound like an interesting case to find a long lost relative somewhere in my world.

Ah. I understand it much better now. Purifying spirits does like a pretty unique job to have. I don’t think that there are similar jobs like that in my world.

You never know; you could, but just might not know about it. Jujutsu sorcerers keep things on the downlow; most people don’t even know we exist. My school’s listed as a private school, despite it being where I learn how to exorcise spirits.

Oh it does sound like jujutsu is a secret line of work in your world. That could explain why I probably never heard of it back in my world before, there might be groups of jujutsu sorcerers working in secret in there.

Yeah, you never know. Plus it's not exactly well-known outside of Japan either.

Yep. That is very understandable. I doubt that there are many people in Russia or in Paris who would have some knowledge in jujutsu.
