journal 🌸 dreamotion training!
Hello everyone! Hilda here. ♥
After all of the craziness with the dream thing from last month and everything, I was wondering if there are other people who were surprised to find their dreamotion abilities kind of... lacking.
[Someone slacked off a bit too much, she's realizing!]
Would people be interested in getting together and practicing? I'm not thinking anything violent like fighting. Maybe we could create something cute and practical or something.
Those of you who are in, let me know.

[Really, he's kidding— the more people in on something like this, the better, but the need to practice has been on his mind, too.]
I'd like to learn how to put mine to good use, too. Feels like a real waste if we don't, and I don't know that I was much good in that dreamshift without it. I'm always good for hitting things, but might need more than that.

[She's also kidding! They're just Like This.]
I think it'll be good for both of us to practice. You could depend on your fists a bit less, and I could afford to fight a bit more glamorously.
[Read: "with less physical effort"]

[They are absolutely just Like This.]
It would be good to learn to be a little more versatile.
Does that mean you're hoping this will be less work than swinging an axe around?
no subject
[This is for everybody, Baltie, not just them!]
And of course I'm hoping for that. Axes are HEAVY, Baltie. It's the same reason I'm trying to convince the professor back home to let me ride a wyvern.
[She hasn't succeeded in making her case yet, but she will.]

You know, you ever want to change things up a little, you could try your fists at brawling.
You've definitely got the muscle for it, and you don't have to carry anything!
[Your weapons are a part of you. It doesn't get more metal than that, Hilda.]
no subject
[Hilda doesn't want to be metal! She wants to be delicate and cute. Which definitely means no fisticuffs.]

Anyway, what are you saying? My hands aren't that bad!
[They're definitely a hell of a lot rougher than hers, though. He doesn't have a manicure to worry about, either.]
Fine, fine, have it your way. You don't know what you're missing, though.

It's a girl thing. You wouldn't get it.

I think your hands would still be pretty!

[It's a bit weird, but a compliment is a compliment!]
Talk of hands aside, I'm looking forward to seeing you at this training thing.

Yeah, I'll be there! If you need help getting things rolling, you can count on me. You know how to reach me.
