Hi, I'm Jason. I'm new and had some questions.

I heard living arrangements here are kind of a free for all. How do people find themselves a place? I get that it's all just up for grabs, but do how do you know which are actually available? Do you just knock on doors or try to open them randomly? I'm kinda worried about just barging in on someone. Has anyone accidentally walked in on someone that forgot to lock up?

And what's the longest anyone's been here? My friend Leo said he knows someone who's been here for more than a year.

Thanks in advance for any answers.

'Tis commendable that you are so considerate of others, Jason.

I am Erichthonios, and much like yourself, I have recently arrived here, for lack of a better word. 'Tis my understanding that arrivals such as ours happen on a somewhat predictable basis. Yet, it would seem that, while housing of sorts does exist, there is a certain lack of organization in alloting it.

[Hence, the current problem.]

I have been considering what might be the best way to remedy this situation.

There would be blood in the streets if the housing was like the FFXIV wards

A centralized building could work. One with multiple floors, and space enough for accommodations on each floor, like the structures in Amaurot. The ground floor could host a lobby for registering those newly arrived.

[Or, in fewer words, starter apartments.]

It would take a large amount of aether to create, but it would not be outside the realm of possibility. Perhaps the dreamotion energy I've heard others speak of here could be harnessed as well.

I would now like to thank my buddy Chips who has somehow always managed to win against the bots.

You make a good point. Perhaps those who have already secured housing could display an indication of their residing there, for a start.

[Oh... That is... concerning. Is this dream-world filled with children yet untaught in simple civilities?]

Surely, knocking upon the doors and making inquiries about vacant housing in the area would be better? Were I to search for a house already created, that is the course I would take.
