Many of you may already be aware of the ongoing effort to ensure that those who wish to remain in this world may do so. Eustace-san has suggested a logical first step: we need to better understand the nature of the connections between our present selves and our original worlds. While it appears that observing the connection directly is beyond their current instruments, the researchers at the Observatory are hopeful that progressing their understanding of dreamotion could prove helpful.

What we now need are volunteer dreamers who would not object to the study of their dreamwalking and dreamotion. For those willing, if you could reply here or contact myself or Eustace-san, it would be a considerable help. Of course those who have no intention of staying here permanently are also very welcome to assist. I believe learning more about this could be beneficial to all of us.

Finally, the tapirs have suggested that those who no longer exist in their original world may not be tethered to those worlds as tightly. From comparison to the magic of my own world, I believe volunteers with unusual circumstances such as these might be able to provide the researchers with additional clues. Those who have died in their own worlds, who otherwise experienced a separation from their physical bodies, or who may have complex connections as a result of something such as cloning could be particularly helpful. I understand that a number of these subjects may be sensitive. If you don't wish to discuss them in public, you are more than welcome to contact us privately, or to disclose this information only to the researchers themselves.

I can tell you what I know as it applies to my specific circumstance, though it's probably a bit different than most of the other dreamers here.

I believe I might be someone you would consider to have an "unusual circumstance," but it is not like any of the examples you listed.

The details are a bit beyond me, unfortunately, and I believe they're still in the process of working out finer measurement tools. But if you're not yet familiar with it, the telescope at the Observatory can look into our own worlds.

I'm happy to help! I was a little surprised with my own Dreamotion -- it's still not entirely under my control, strangely, but the plants I evoke don't tangle me up now, at least.

i've been thinking for a while that i want to stay in this world. as much as i miss home i've been away for so long that sometimes i forget things about it. the last time i had a dream about home it was all full of holes and blank spaces and i couldn't figure out why. maybe because it's been so long, you know?

Figured I should at least introduce myself at some point, since it sounds like you'll be working pretty closely with Eustace. Not sure if he's mentioned, but I'm Tifa Lockhart, his wife. So I guess you could say I've got a pretty high investment in all this work.

I'd be willing to offer myself up as a volunteer. Been here a long time so I've got a pretty good handle on both dreamwalking and dreamotion so whatever the researchers need, I'll try to make myself as available as I can between running the café.

I guess on that note, and I don't mean to turn this into a plug, but if you ever need a big space to gather people or even somewhere to do research, the Starflower is always open to you.

While I might not be among those that wish to remain here, I also think it would be beneficial to gain a greater understanding of the forces in play. I already said as much to Eustace, so I imagine that we will be working together on this at some point in time.

[Needless to say, he does not offer himself up as a guinea pig. It's one thing to test one's own products with the safety mechanisms switched off and it was quite another to hand that kind of power off to someone else.]

I'm Seto Kaiba, and although that might not mean much here, I have plenty of experience in research and development. Also, I've been working on a few theories of my own regarding interdimensional travel. I'll spare you the rest and cut to the chase. I want to be there to assist in analyzing the data.

Of course, the data collection is in the hands of the Observatory researchers. But I'm sure they wouldn't object to having the additional perspective from a nex dreamer such as yourself. Do you have experience with interdimensional travel as well?

Not that I'm currently aware of. It appears that the Observatory can be used to glimpse your home world if you have concerns about it, however.

Severing the ties altogether would be a rather drastic decision for an entire world, would it not?
