[He reached out and ruffled the big dog's ears. She soon cheered up and wagged, and with a nod, Denji slid right back down to maintain his vigil in the grass below. Maple turned back to the door and lowered her haunches into a sit. Strapped to her very fluffy chest was a little chest containing a vegetable soup, herby toast for dipping and chamomile tea for the easy-peasy stomach and one in need of a good rest.]

[Give or take about 10 to 15 minutes, the door finally opens and Sleeping Beauty stands there, rubbing her eyes for a second before she registers the dog. For a moment she stares at it in mild bewilderment as if she's genuinely forgotten why there would be a dog here, only for her stomach to growl loudly and remind her--]

Ah, that's right. I ordered food.

[Things that are important other than sleep. Right.]

[The dog brightened up and wagged her big, bushy tail when the door opened. Dogs weren't supposed to be green, were they...? She looked more like a big leonberger made out of soft grass and flowers than anything made of fur.

The question had her tilt her head. She waited for YEARS, what is time anyway??]
