Subject: Hello.

[The Story Eater has been vanquished and most of the elements it summoned have disappeared. But caches of Malice that appeared during the event have stubbornly remained around Reverein. Link isn't much of a journal post person, but he decides to say something anyway.

Still working on a solution.

A solution that may come quicker provided testing happened. Granted, most of the tech I'd want isn't here, but we can manage.

I mean, that's just one out of many things. What, you think scientific testing is just poking something once and then being done with it? Golly, how do you think people found out what oxygen is, what its half-life is, and how many things it's a component for just by simply poking it once and then packing it up?

I mean, there's tons of unanswered questions! Is it capable of breeding, or does it reproduce through mitosis? Is it acidic or basic? What harms it? What does it harm and by how much and in what way? Can it be used to deter these nightmares that appear every once in a while?

And if you're just going to sit around and do nothing, I'll solve this little puzzle of mine myself.
