In some ways it is, in some ways it's not. You're still dealing with people who held their beliefs thousands of years ago and haven't really changed their minds. That level of progress couldn't be speed run.
It's only unfortunate that Byakuya lived out his life and died. He'd have loved Gen. I'd never have heard the end of it.

yeah... that sounds about right. and half of them probably doubled down on their beliefs after such a tramatic event.

He was a really good dad. I got lucky. It's crazy to think I've lived as long without him as I did with him.
[ It doesn't hurt as much anymore. He doesn't feel too much grief towards his birth parents, he didn't really know them, but Byakuya he'll always grieve to some extent. ]

I became aware of his death eleven years ago so I'm alright. It never quite goes away though, that's not something I would've expected. Then again, I wasn't prepared for it either.
