Oh, hello there! It is so nice to meet you! Thank you so much for your compliment... it really made me blush!

I draw dogs a lot, but never enough cats! Would you mind? I would really love to practice!

It's wonderful to meet you as well.

I don't mind at all. I can describe her for you here, but if you'd prefer, I could bring her to visit you and we can all meet in person?

If it's not too much of an inconvenience I would love to meet the both of you! That way it would be easier to draw you both!

But if you're not able to, I can do it here!

It's no trouble at all. I just need a little time to make sure Zareh is in the mood to move.

Where can I find you?

[azuresong]

I'm at the Starflower Sanctuary Cafe right now, but I can go somewhere quieter, if you would like! I'd love to make sure Zareh is as comfortable as possible.

[sermom]

Hmm. Somewhere quiet might be best. I love the cafe, but there are enough dogs there regularly that I don't think Zareh would enjoy it quite so much.

Since it's so close to the plaza, how about the outskirts of the Rose Garden?

[azuresong]

Oh yes, the rose garden sounds perfect! I can head over there whenever you are ready!

I’m so excited to meet you both!

[sermom]

Me too. It shouldn't be long.

[And indeed it's just a short while later that Kisara sends along another message to let Lyria know they're at the garden, whenever she's free. She can find Kisara settled in the grass just outside of one of the first flower patches, watching a black cat chase a fly.]

[ Humming as she gathers her tools, Lyria will notify the rest of her house with her intentions before beginning to make her way to the gardens. It isn't that long of a walk, not many things were, so with a satchel full of goodies (and maybe some yummy treats for Zareh!) she quickens her pace to their desired location.

It takes her a bit to arrive, only because she had to say goodbye to every dog, but eventually the blue haired girl will begin to see the clearing of the gardens in the distance.

... But something causes her to pause.

There's a moment she can catch Kisara's face in the distance, and a look of recognition flashes over Lyria's features.

Wait, was that? No, it couldn't be— ]

—Katalina?

[azuresong]

[ and then she breaks out into a full run as tears are already beginning to spot at the corner of her eyes. ]

Katalina!? Is that you!?

[sermom]

[Zareh skitters to hide behind Kisara as Lyria comes running in their direction, and Kisara looks up, eyes widening in surprise.]

Hm? Have you mistaken me for someone else?

[Oh no, and she's crying, too... it must've been someone dear to her, then.]

[azuresong]

[ Realization hits a little too late as she skids to a halt in front of them. She... did look so much like her, but- ]

Ah... I [ Lyria pauses, nearly breathless from her run. ] I- I'm sorry, I thought you were...

You're Kisara, right?

[sermom]

[Ah... it's what she'd feared. Kisara knows it isn't her fault, but she offers up an apologetic smile nonetheless.]

That's right. You must be Lyria.

[azuresong]

[ She gives a small nod, and slinks back a bit in embarrassment. ]

I am! It's very nice to meet you. [ Her eyes dart to the ground but only momentarily as the glimpse of the subject to her arrival pokes out from behind Kisara. ]

Ah! And that must be Zareh, right? They're very cute!

[sermom]

It's nice to meet you as well. And yes, Zareh... come on out now, it's safe.

[The cat seems content to park herself at Kisara's side, setting free a soft mew, tail wagging back and forth at a lazy pace. Kisara sighs quietly.]

Why don't you have a seat? She's usually not this shy, but cats startle easily, so give her a moment to settle and I'm sure she'll want to have a better look at you.

[azuresong]

I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to scare her. [ It's just... Kisara...

She can't help but keep her gaze on the woman as she settles down beside them, trying to keep a good bit of distance so that Zareh could adjust and feel comfortable again. ]

I was just a little surprised myself. You... look like someone very dear to me from back home.

[sermom]

It's alright, I understand.

[She does, really. She's not so arrogant to assume her style is unique through all the universe, and at a glance many people can be mistaken for another. She turns a little where she sits, brushing her hand gently through Zareh's fur to help her settle. At least she's in a better position to be seen, now?]

And don't worry, Zareh is very forgiving. It's just that she's a cat, and has to pretend she's more annoyed than she is.
