Just to take your mind off the weird vampire things:

What would your ideal Halloween costume be?

[A pause in writing, because...]

Before anyone asks, Halloween is a holiday where I'm from where you dress up in a costume. Some places, kids go door to door and get candy by saying 'trick or treat'. It was an old holiday that celebrated something else entirely, but now it's just a candy holiday with spooky stuff like... well, vampires and ghosts as decor.

...anyway. Maybe we can dream up some costumes that get rid of those dream vamps with some cool power, huh? Feel free to tell someone their idea is silly or cool though, I'm not your mom.

A shame they're not your typical vampires. Otherwise, the obvious answer is to dress as what they're weak to. As for myself, I haven't really given much thought about it. [This place will probably dump a stupid outfit on him anyway.]

Right? The possibilities are totally endless. You could put on a top hat to be a fancy ghost or some sunglasses to be a cool ghost.

Actually, I bet with the right accessories, someone could probably style a ghost sheet into something really good looking. Maybe a cute belt or one of those fluffy underskirts to make the bottom kind of flare out?

I was at it from the second I was helped, basically, and that was... a lot. You know, the whole thing with mom. I tunneled pretty hard and then was just exhausted from climbing a whole pyramid and then fighting the hallucination.

After that it was just focusing on getting around their systems without getting caught. That can take it out of you! Now you know. (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑

Hmm. At first I thought something cool and cyberpunk-y but that'd just be like my Metaverse clothes or what I wear in dreams and nightmares here, so I can't do THAT. Then I thought about maybe doing something like a skeleton, 'cause reasons, but that's just a bodysuit and some makeup, pass. I could maybe go for like, some jrpg protag I guess, but fantasy-fied, but I'm definitely not a sword user for something like that.

Yeah! You don't need to be EVIL but you could if you reeeeaaalllllly wanted to be. Or just a regular witch that can make those same potions! Or vine traps... man those would be frustrating to deal with if someone needed to make a deal with you or something.

Oh yes yes! That is what I am liking to hear. Making potions, deals, pollen bombs, and vine traps. People really don’t want to mess with pollen bombs and vine traps if they did try to annoy me or attempt to break those deals they had made with me.

In some cultures they believed that, yeah. The grim reaper is another thing that people believe in. Big robe, giant scythe, one touch is what makes you breathe your last so he can take your soul away to the afterlife... So maybe not like that then, for Mandos. But how do you hear the call? Is it like someone calling your name? A knock on your door and you wake up in his hall?

A fluffy skirt thing would make it fancy... or just a really frilly one. Same with a top hat... but what if you wanted to be a grungy one? Like, backward cap? Would the bottom just be like, ripped up jeans?

Maybe! Assuming the dreamvamps don't stick around. I think they had regular carnival fare, like you'd see at a matsuri, but also a hall of mirrors and stuff. I hope they come back, it keeps things lively. And spooky. You know, how it should be for the season.
