Just to take your mind off the weird vampire things:

What would your ideal Halloween costume be?

[A pause in writing, because...]

Before anyone asks, Halloween is a holiday where I'm from where you dress up in a costume. Some places, kids go door to door and get candy by saying 'trick or treat'. It was an old holiday that celebrated something else entirely, but now it's just a candy holiday with spooky stuff like... well, vampires and ghosts as decor.

...anyway. Maybe we can dream up some costumes that get rid of those dream vamps with some cool power, huh? Feel free to tell someone their idea is silly or cool though, I'm not your mom.

The ol' sheet ghost, huh? I guess you could make it different too. What if it's like... the kind of sheet with a pattern on them? Ghost dressed up for a special occasion!

Right? The possibilities are totally endless. You could put on a top hat to be a fancy ghost or some sunglasses to be a cool ghost.

Actually, I bet with the right accessories, someone could probably style a ghost sheet into something really good looking. Maybe a cute belt or one of those fluffy underskirts to make the bottom kind of flare out?

A fluffy skirt thing would make it fancy... or just a really frilly one. Same with a top hat... but what if you wanted to be a grungy one? Like, backward cap? Would the bottom just be like, ripped up jeans?

I guess you could take some scissors and really go to town on it. I wonder how many pairs of jeans you would need to take apart to make a whole ghost sheet?

[She's sure they make denim in large enough amounts but somehow she can't quite imagine it.]

I bet you could make a really cutesy ghost if you cut the bottom into a scalloped edge or if you got some cute patterned lace or ribbons on there.

It's like when it's a a row of little semicircle edges. Not that I've ever done it myself. I'm not super handy with that kind of stuff, to be honest.

[She barely knows what it is herself. Just another bit of miscellaneous knowledge from being pulled in by various clubs back home.]

It would be unexpected, though, wouldn't it? Imagine someone turning up on Halloween in a big denim ghost costume! It would actually be kind of funny, wouldn't it?
