[Ryu’s been thinking. There’s been talk about ‘holidays’ and stuff like that, but he’s… confused. Let alone being confused that the same place can have such different weather, but the snow outside is secondary to his thoughts at the moment.]

i understand the idea of years but what is ‘new years’

well i was around for about three or four months before i got here

and ive been here uh

but to be fair im not a normal mortal

you could say that again. normal "mortals" dont go round callin themselves mortals. just "people" if you wanna sound less weird.

[ But then again... he knows some weird mortals, too. Himself included. ]

anyway baby or not a holiday is a day you celebrate. theres tons of them for all kinds of reasons.

yeah its just theres different kinds of people

different species i guess is the term?? a lot of people here think of people who look like me or nina without the wings when they think of ‘people’ and its weird to me
