Greetings. This is Black Raisin Cookie.

Let me just preface this, as I feel I will probably always have to do, that yes, I am a Cookie.

I've been here for roughly two months now, and one thing that's become very clear is that I am perhaps one of the smallest people here. For reference, I appear to be able to fit in the palm of the average human's hand. As such, many buildings and furniture and even food are massively larger than I am.

I am aware that Dreamotion can be used to master the elements, and depending on how it's utilized, can even change one's appearance. I'm still trying to adjust to Dreamotion through rigorous daily training. But I'm still very inexperienced with it. So my question is - can it or any other form of magic here be used to change my height?

I am not asking for a permanent solution. My size can come in use. But I have to admit, taking several jumps in order to reach a table's surface can be annoying. 

I also don't wish to tire out my Raisin Crows, who often fly me long distances. 

Speaking of them, if they've taken any loose hairs of yours, I apologize for their behavior. Christmas got them overwhelmed.

It is the least I can do. We need to be understanding with eachother here, no? We have all been taken from so many different kinds of places it's only to be expected that unforseen problems would occur and so we all must pull together to help deal with them.

How long has it been since this all started, anyway?

I'm... not entirely sure? I myself has been here since early summer, but from what I've gathered there are those that have spent much longer here than I.

[cawpatrol]

That is concerning. I've been told time back home doesn't move, but it's still worrisome.

[holdshisown]

It is, I suppose. I must confess that I'm a bit less concerned about that matter than others might be.

[The passage of time was not the concern of the dead, after all. His story had already come to a close and it was up to others what to make of the world he left behind.]

I have reason to be concerned. I've "left" my allies, and we were trying to find a legendary hero to help our fight against the Cookies of Darkness.

Which is understandable. I would be much angrier if I'd been snatched away in the middle of the Bragollach. But my concern about this is mostly about the rest of you, honestly, you all have your own stories to live while mine has already come to a close.

You are fortunate if that's true, but perhaps too confident. I hope you're right, but fate has a habit of adding chapters when someone thinks their book is done.

Not all would see it as fortunate, but I don't disagree with you on that. I do doubt there is a new chapter in my future, the ending of my story was quite a final one... but considering the nature of my people it is not entirely impossible. It is, however, very improbable.

Does your stay here count as an extra chapter, you think?

[holdshisown]

Hmm... it depends on how you look at it, I suppose? Once our time here has ended will there be anyone to remember this part of my story? And if there is none that will, would that not be the same as taking this new chapter and throwing it in a fire?

Supposedly, we are here to help this world and its inhabitants. Even if they don't remember, they will have been helped. I'd like to think that counts.

I'm not saying it doesn't count, if I thought that I'd not get involved at all. Just that it won't be part of my story in the end, for no one will know of it. I am alright with that, not all good deeds need to be lauded or even remembered for them to have meaning.

An honorable sentiment. True, it matters not who is remembered for the good deeds or why - merely that the deed was done at all.

To leave the world a bit better than you found it is a reward enough unto itself, I think. It is something we all should aspire to do.

I agree with every crumb of my dough. I can only hope I achieve that here.

From what I've seen of you, friend, I do not think it unlikely that you were to achieve it. You seem a capable and determined young lady, I'm sure there are very few things you cannot achieve when you put your mind to it.

Now that I must disagree with. After all, I opened this very message with the intent to change my size because of what I can't do.

That's not how I see it. For are you not already looking for a way to solve that problem?

So you see asking others for help as "putting my mind to it"?

[holdshisown]

Of course! You're looking to solve the problem the best way you know how. Asking for help is a commendable atribute, not a sign of weakness.

[cawpatrol]

I don't know if it's the best way, it's just the only way I could think of.

Which makes it the best way you know.

I have my moments of wisdom. Not many, mind you, but they are there.
