Okay. How many gods are here? I've met two and there are three demigods myself included.

and demons while were at it. my father works with demons all the time and my children are demons so no judgement there.

Im just trying to figure out how this place works.

Heh, yeah, easy mistake to make. But as much as I want to be rich like the next guy, more than that I want to make people happy.

war and happiness dont seem like domains that go together.

I'm retired from war. Thankfully it's mostly unnecessary these days.

as in there's no more war where your from??

Not in the country I'm based in. Overseas, yeah, but I can hardly go traipsing around the world when I have my own business to attend to.

Besides, I'm pretty damn sick of the bloodshed.

if only the war gods in my pantheon were sick of it.

Yeah, there's one god in particular back home who's always itching for a fight. You'd think they'd get tired after a while!

in my experience gods dont change like mortals do. when they do it takes a lot longer.

how old are you?

True. I myself find it difficult to shake old habits.

Somewhere around a thousand, give or take a century. How about you?

15ish. Or 80-something. depending if you actually count the years that went by since my birth or the years I experienced.

long story short, I spent seventy something years in a place where time went much slower and that was about a month for me.

Huh, yeah, that's not unlike how it is in the Heavens back home. Time flows differently there compared to that on Earth, though the discrepancy is nowhere near that dramatic. But I guess that would explain why you have such expansive knowledge of the subject, if you've lived for eighty years or so.

That makes you an old fart of a human.
