Some gods, for reasons of their own, do not wish to disclose their identities, especially since they must mingle with mortals here. I imagine that some demons must feel the same.

I am, however, willing to provide you with a data point. I am aware of the presence of six gods in this dream.

Six huh? yeah. this place is weird and powerful. sleep and dreams are often more powerful than people give it credit.

most of the gods from my world want people to know theyre gods. especially if the must mingle with mortals. demons I've met mostly just want to eat. most mortals just assume theyre people because of the mist.

I know of four from my world, personally! One of them prefers to keep his identity a secret, though. And one other from a different world, but I doubt he's from the same one as you.

I've also met someone claiming to be from his world's hell, though I couldn't say if he was an actual demon or not.

As you well know, I am no god. However... I cannot help but be curious now that you have made inquiry about them. What would be considered a god amongst the cultures of those here...? Do you suppose their definitions of them hold the potential to vary?

Probably. in my world gods are created by the united consiciounous of humanity. there hopes and dreams. there fears. powered by worship.

and it makes them powerful.

hmm... basically if people worshiping you/remembering you makes you more powerful youre probably a god.
