A question, if I may... Does anyone look out to a formal settlement and find it altogether too dazzling at times? Or, mayhap even too much to trust that it is on offer with nearly no strings attached?

It must be amusing to some gods out there, all of this. They sit, witness to repeated mistakes, to entrapment in forms with mortal limitations, flawed cultures. And yet here I continue to talk as if I do not know how to stop and be silent.

On that note, I will confess I have had insulting things said to me in the past - for quirks of my anatomy, namely for likeness of my ears to local gambling house attire - and rude presumptions toward those who took me in for bearing feline ears. Yet, to be reduced to "a snack" in the eyes of others... I cannot imagine.
Is there a name or title you prefer? One that may affirm and heal, rather than bring frustration to you?
