I admit I have never been met with anything like this... And yet I know small-statured Lalafells are oft the most cunning and cutthroat of the people I have met.

Not to say that you are specifically cutthroat! Mayhap that is the compliment it is intended to be--

It was simply not something I had considered in a way that I could freely converse with the other party like this... But if I were to consider it truly? I do believe that any being, regardless of size or standing, has potential.

The most helpful of medicinal herbs oft are unassuming and easily missed to the untrained eye.

To offer no words at all for your plight felt too ... callous? Intentionally uncaring? Yet mayhap it would have been kinder in the end. I hate to beg forgiveness yet again, it is not owed me.

It must be amusing to some gods out there, all of this. They sit, witness to repeated mistakes, to entrapment in forms with mortal limitations, flawed cultures. And yet here I continue to talk as if I do not know how to stop and be silent.

I apologize if I came off as callous in response. I'll admit, my time here has been frustrating. But you've still been kinder than many, who are in repeated disbelief of my claims, or tell me repeatedly how my kind is seen as a snack.

On that note, I will confess I have had insulting things said to me in the past - for quirks of my anatomy, namely for likeness of my ears to local gambling house attire - and rude presumptions toward those who took me in for bearing feline ears. Yet, to be reduced to "a snack" in the eyes of others... I cannot imagine.

Is there a name or title you prefer? One that may affirm and heal, rather than bring frustration to you?
