A question, if I may... Does anyone look out to a formal settlement and find it altogether too dazzling at times? Or, mayhap even too much to trust that it is on offer with nearly no strings attached?

You were chosen to sleep outside...? And-- if it is... can I ask how many others are with you?

Regardless -- I think that you're brave to try to do so much for others here like that...

Oh, me? ... I guess I've been really lucky so far. Up until waking up here... I've always been able to spend most of my nights with my family. Unless I was able to have a sleep over at a friend's house, anyway.

Mayhap that was a poor way to word it... not "chosen" so much as bound by rules to be a defender. There were very few of us in this position, and none were fighting "alongside" you. Worry not. It was not common.

I don't mean to pry, but do you enjoy it here? You seem well-versed in staying with others! You might have advice for those of us who do not know how to settle in situations like that.

Me? I miss my friend and family a lot, but... I love it here. There's so many amazing things to see, and people to meet -- and now I've had the chance to meet you, too!
