Hi everyone! My name is Sumire Yoshizawa, I'm happy to meet you. I've been here for a bit of time now but this is the first I've used the journals, I guess I was a little nervous..

Um, anyway, it's been a little quiet recently, so I was wondering if maybe anyone would be interested in learning to cook? I know it's a little.. strange to be eating in a dream - do we even have to eat here? It's a good skill to have, though! I don't need anything in return, I'm happy just to help people learn how to cook, everyone should have at least a couple good recipes under their belt!

I'd also like to learn to bake, if anyone has any experience.. it's kind of like cooking, but it's really different, and I don't have as much practice with baking.

Oh, I think this is a lovely idea. I've helped prepare some breakfast food back home but I could definitely use more practice.

We never got the chance to work on baking though. [ Sorry...... ]

Oh, that's okay! Like I said, I don't expect anything in return, I'm happy just to teach others. Are you interested, then?

Absolutely! Will you be on a schedule, do you think? Like a class?

Oh gosh no, nothing like that, I don't think I could handle a class..

Lovely! Well... my name is Susato Mikotoba. When are you available to meet typically?

Oh, I said that already, didn't I..

W-well, anyway, I've got a pretty open schedule right now!

[ Sort of. Susato had indeed gotten her name from the original broadcast, but there's no harm in the reminder. She must be Japanese, like her. ]

How about we make plans? We will need to gather ingredients, so what is your favorite dish to make?

My favorite..? Hmm..

[ she has to think for awhile. ]

I do love making bento lunches. They're so cute and compact!

Oh my. They also vary quite heavily, though. [ You can put whatever you want in them, pretty much, but in their case, they'll have to stick to what's available. ]

I know we will be able to get vegetables and fruits from the communal garden, at least. Meat might be... slightly more difficult.

We can make a vegetarian meal!

I wonder though.. can we dream up.. meat? Food?

I think we would have to hunt it ourselves, which I haven't the heart to do.

Vegetarian, though, that could be very tasty!

Oh right, I don't know anything about hunting..

But vegetarian it is, then!

Great! I will make a list of what we can use... I remember seeing broccoli, mushrooms, some bell peppers I think...

[ ...she's gonna have a non-magic notebook for this. Luckily, she has plenty. ]

Oh, those would be lovely stir-fried with some teriyaki sauce.. I'll see if I can't find us some rice!

Rice would certainly help fill us up...

By the way, do you mind if I ask you what you look like?

Oh! Right, I guess that would be helpful in finding each other..

Here, let me try something.

[ sumire hasn't yet attempted to share pictures through the journals, so what better time than now! closing her eyes, she focuses, and imprints a picture of herself onto the page! ]

Oh! I see it! What long pretty red hair you have.

[ All the better to... cook... with you??? Susato doesn't have too much experience with this either, despite experimenting with the journal quite a bit. ]

Let's see... my turn?

[ Susato does the same, closing her eyes and imagining a photographic print. ]

Oh.. thank you!

[ she's definitely blushing behind the journal, sumire isn't used to compliments!! ]

Ah, it worked! Your clothing is beautiful! This was a good idea, it'll help us find each other much more easily.

[ Susato isn't used to compliments herself; she's worn these clothes for as long as she can remember, but she'll certainly take the comment to heart. ]

These journals are really quite amazing, aren't they?

Where shall I look for you?

They are! I've never used anything like them.

How about we meet at the cafe?

At Dreambucks? [ Are there other cafes...... she feels like there should be, but she's just going to stick to the assumption. ] I can do that.

[ if there are, sumire doesn't know them! ]

Yeah! Sounds great to me!

[judicialassistant]

[ And so, she has some errands to run, doesn't she?

After spending some amount of time, harvesting vegetables in the garden and replacing them with new plants, Susato places what she thinks they can use into a bag, along with a few bottles of water. She finds herself in the corner of Dreambucks, reading over her notes and basically--well, killing time.

It is a wonder whether she'd even notice if someone's come to meet her or not. ]

[ sumire also takes some time to stop by the marketplace to grab some potatoes, and pick up some extra rice - one can never have too much rice - before she meanders on down toward dreambucks, her bag over her shoulder.

it isn't too difficult to spot her quarry, thanks to the convenience of the journal images! sumire approaches with a smile. ]

S-sorry to interrupt you! Mikotoba-san?

[ Perhaps burying herself in her own notes was also a way of calming her nerves. She does jolt at Sumire greeting her, but very quickly, she's slapped her notebook closed and stands up for a quick bow. ]

Yoshizawa-san! It's a pleasure to meet you in person. J, Just Susato is fine. [ She thinks?? They both look to be about the same age. Either way, she'll offer the option at least, for ease's sake. ]
