Subject: Requesting Personal Stories About Adventures and/or Travels and Other Items in Relation to Dream Board Post #1205

I am in need of numerous stories about any kind of adventure, journey, or travel you may have embarked on be it in this world or your own.

If you've seen my posting on the board, this post is to provide fuller details about the situation. Last month I had been...trapped in a large tree located on the eastern forests, and within this tree are seven dogs which look like corgis. [Have an imprinted image of what the adorable fluffballs look like:]



It all appears to have been pulled in from another world and has remnants of its original magic in place. This magic is a protection spell and prevents the dogs and anything within the tree to leave. Should the dogs somehow manage to leave without it... They will likely die.

Even if it's for their protection, the dogs need and want to go outside. Furthermore, Should something happen to the tree they wouldn't be able to escape. Fortunately, a way to break the original enchantment and cast a new one to protect them as they live in this world has been found. It's simple and requires the following:

• Bee Honey
  
• Fish Scales
  
• Adventure Stories

None of these are specific so it's whatever can be found, though the better quality, the better chance of succeeding. However, because of the number of dogs, a large amount of each will be needed to ensure they are properly protected. It would be better if there was a better solution, but this will have to do for now.

As for the adventure stories, as mentioned I need a large amount so I would like to ask any willing to share any personal stories they had. There are no specifics, but I get the sense the story should have some spirit of exploration and discovery, which would fit the purpose of the spell. These stories will be transcribed in a journal used for the spell.

Finally, I am looking to create a headstone. The tree and the dogs had a guardian before, however he perished upon leaving the tree. The remains have been buried, but a headstone would be appropriate as well.

If you have any to spare then whatever amount will be appreciate. It will certainly make it easier compared to trying to harvest from wild bees.

[Imagine his own reaction stumbling across them the first time. They're the size of puppies.]

...You've actually made me curious. Would it be possible to see them? I could pick up the jars then if so.

Yeah, sure. Seems like so long as you don't come in aggressively they really don't seem to mind someone around them- which just means walking and not too quick movements.

West side of the residential district, head down the path, take a left off it. I'll be in the first clearing you hit.

We'll go to the area from there.

Just don't be alarmed by the blue dragon if she wakes up. She'll be nearby napping an probably stay behind when we go for the bees.

It takes him a bit, but eventually Eustace arrives at the clearing, a bag over his shoulder to take the honey back in. As promised he'll shoot 76 a message that he's close and it only takes a moment to see the man.]

76?

[steadypulse]

[Lo and behold, there was most definitely a dragon curled up, wings tucked, and sleeping- well, until it's head lifted and ears flicked. Taking scent of the air and looking towards Eustace before- tucking her head right under a wing to go back to sleep.

It was fine.

76 pushed himself up from where he had taken a seat on a tree stump, shoulders rolling.]

Hey. Ready then, yeah? [This was a good half-way point to some of the hives, and he hadn't checked on these recently so there was a good chance there'd be some that could be safely collected.]

[Yep, that is indeed a dragon and he just looks at it curiously when it looks at him before it settles back down.]

Lead the way.

[Already turning and walking in to the treeline just behind him, not worried about the dragon left there to sleep. She'd catch up if she didn't want to be left behind.]

Won't be too far of a walk, you'll know we're close when you hear the buzzing.

Do I need to wear any protective gear?

[steadypulse]

[A slow shake of his head.] No, you'll be fine.

[76 was leading the way to the bees as he was after all. No concern in his posture, let alone voice, walking a path that he was so very familiar with.]

You just need to not swat at them or anything like that.

[It's not like Eustace is much better but always safe to ask.]

How did you come across them?

[steadypulse]

When those who arrived were dealing with large beetles and other insects within the treehouses- [So this was something he'd been doing for a while.] -I was carrying one deep in to the forest to hopefully find it a better home with more food.

Then I heard the buzzing, figured I might as well investigate while already there. I was not expecting blue honeybees, let along that some of them were as big as puppies.

[So at least some, by that account, were possibly more on the smaller side.]

So instead of taking care of beetles you took bees instead.

But how could they be that big?

[steadypulse]

Take care of themselves, just help keep them from overfilling their hives and getting honey bound.

[Could already hear the buzzing, a few of the smaller bees visible buzzing about. Why was it the smaller bees that ventured further? He had no idea, but the larger ones seemed to stick closer to the hives.]

Couldn't tell you other than the same reason any other insects around here are that big.

Hm... Interesting.

[Now that he could see the bees in person, it really is intriguing to see how they look and behave.]

They didn't show hostility when you first approached them?

[steadypulse]

[A few of the small ones suddenly circled around 76's head, one landing in his hair before they all zipped off in the same direction- right where he was leading Eustace.]

None, which was weird. I can only put it towards them not being from a place where they had threats.

[The buzzing grew louder, and some clearing could be seen ahead- and that was one pudgy and fluffy-as-fuck blue bee flying right at him rather quickly just to... land on his shoulder and wiggle about. Head butting against his jaw and side of his neck, fluffy bee feet clinging to the sweater fibers.]

... They started doing this when I came by more. Been a while since I visited this particular hive, guess they noticed.

[...This.......is so bizarre that he can't help but raise his brows at the sight. It also was a strange sight given this was a giant bee basically cuddling up to a man who carried the air of a grizzled soldier.]

...Perhaps it helped that you didn't appear threatening to them either.

But I suppose they recognize and trust you. Do they have stingers like other honey bees?

[The fact he carried on at least meant he was used to it, and once in the clearing that bee very much kept on his shoulder for the ride. A few others bumping against him, others moving to land briefly on the other shoulder or his head.

Some left a bit of oddly glittery pollen on him, 76 just lightly brushing it off when he could see it.

The hive in sight was large, taking up most of what was likely a hallowed out but living tree.]

They do, yeah. Haven't seen one use a stinger yet, and I frankly don't want to. Strange as they seem, could pack a wallop or worse in a sting.

[...This is really such a strange sight that Eustace really can't help but stare in wonder and a little bit of awe. To have the bees trust him so much... Quite impressive.

Or naive of the bees, but they seem a lot more reserved and guarded around himself, so it really is more about them basically accepting 76 into their group.]

...Most likely.

[He then stares up at the hive...and again he can't help but be impressed by the size of it.]

Are there other groups of these bees out there?
