okay so i've been here a while now and i've noticed something

i don't know the exact process of how the gods or people or whatever here pick people to help out

i don't know if it's completely random or an intricate process to determine who helps out but lately i've been leaning towards the latter for two reasons

one, i haven't met a single jerk or bully or even rude person here which is legit amazing and awesome BUT

SECOND

IS IT JUST MY IMAGINATION OR IS EVERYONE HERE LIKE INSANELY RIDICIOUSLY GOOD LOOKING

ALL THE ADULTS COULD BE SUPER-MODELS AND ALL THE KIDS COULD BE LIKE THOSE ON HIGH SCHOOL DRAMAS ON TV

i mean this is doing wonders for my own self-confidence regarding my looks but FOR REAL I CANNOT BE THE ONLY ONE TO NOTICE THIS

PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE ELSE HAS NOTICED THIS

it is to me! every time i try to talk to a cute guy my head explodes! every single time!

also do you know what high school is? cause depending on your answer that makes things harder or easier to explain

okay so!!! school dramas are just like, shows? based on what adults think high school is like. lots of drama and angst that never really happens but makes for good watching

I don't think I'm good at drawing.

I have blond hair, pretty long so I wear it in a braid. I'm an adventurer and a traveler, but I definitely don't look too strong, because people usually underestimate me unless they already heard about me.

I have no idea what else to say here.

[It's fine, he's just going to laugh a little at it. And he's waiting for her at the plaza! She knows how he looks like - more or less and really. He's not that difficult to spot. How many other people around are not exactly tall, have long blond hair in a braid and a leather armour with golden ornaments?]

Holy moley! I knew I was right on the money!

[ So while her brain doesn't go completely dead (sorry???), her shout probably got his attention that this young preteen oogling him is, in fact, Mei. ]

[The shout catches his attention. Ah, so this is Mei...

Her reaction gives Aether a pause and an awkward smile soon spreads on his face as he walks up to her, waving slightly. His cheeks may be slightly reddened too. He didn't think she's serious!]

...So you must be Mei. It's nice to meet you in person.
