Greetings, to all who may happen to read this.

I have been meaning to make this offer for some time, but the timing has been ill-suited. At the urging of trusted friends, I have decided to offer music lessons to any who may wish to participate— over the years, I have studied and performed with a number of different instruments that I would be more than happy to assist others with, should this be something they wish to pursue.

My expertise is in violin, but I also have significant experience with flute and piano. In addition to teaching these instruments, I would like to offer lessons in learning to read as well as compose sheet music. With the growth of the theatre district, as well as all the talents put on display at the recent Talent Show, I believe Reverein's climate is ripe for such things, and I do not doubt that there are others willing to offer the same in the interest of sharing their passions.

I will be gladly accepting students of any skill level, and if I can be of assistance to others who might like to share their love of the arts or offer lessons of their own, I would be honored to be of service. If you are interested in any fashion, please, you need only say so.

If you're truly offering lessons, I'd be happy study under your tutelage. It's a little embarrassing to admit that I haven't had much formal training when it comes to the musical arts, as my studies were often centered on politics or other such subjects.

Are you certain that you don't wish for anything in return?

The act itself is its own reward, as far as I'm concerned; I should like to think it will offer me some sense of satisfaction, especially as I have not been spending nearly as much time on my music as I once did. It is time to rectify that.

Compensation seems trivial. We have no need for currency in this place, and want for very little. If I can help another to appreciate the art itself, that is enough.

Your dedication to the art is admirable. I read that your expertise is the violin and I'm interested in learning that instrument the most, so I hope that teaching me won't be too difficult.

If one has the will to learn, that is all that is necessary. So long as you are willing to be patient, I am certain you will do quite well. The violin is, admittedly, my personal favorite.

I jest, but I do look forward to learning this new skill. Since waking in this world, I've been trying to expand what I know and what I can do, even if such knowledge doesn't carry over.

I will take recompense into consideration, but the act of sharing music itself is enough for me. I apologize, I feel it is a personal failing that I did not realize your studio was already in operation. I admit, I have been distracted as of late, and had taken some time away from music before coming to this place... but I am eager to return to it, and do what I can to help others nurture their talents, as well.

Indeed I did. I take it you have a particular interest in that instrument. Is there any reason why?

Music and memory can be very powerfully linked. I can understand the appeal. It means something to you, then.

[ Music lessons, huh? Music has been on Zelda's mind for awhile now, ever since she met the child hero, Link, and played the ocarina with him. The princess never showed any natural talent for music growing up, but now she's starting to think that maybe she just didn't give it a proper chance. ]

Would you have any reservations about accepting a student with [ She pauses. ] no musical aptitude to speak of? I understand if such a request would go beyond the scope of tutelage you are willing to offer, especially without charge.

No reservations whatsoever. If there is something you wish to pursue, or something you seek to gain by studying music, then I am more than happy to lend my aid. Natural aptitude matters little; it is will and enthusiasm that matter most.

If you have the desire to learn, you cannot be entirely lacking in enthusiasm. Perhaps you have simply had the wrong teachers up until now.
