[The message will come across the journals in the morning of the 11th, and before Tifa already begins writing, there will be inky, smudged, and noticeably small paw prints decorating the corners of the page.]

Hey Reverein. Tifa here! Eustace and I have another announcement to make. Two this time, actually.

First, some of you might already know this, but I've been wanting to open up my own place here in town. Been something of a goal of mine for a while, and now that the wedding's over, Eustace and I have been working on making it a reality.

Next month, we'll be opening up a bar and café just off the main plaza, and I'll be serving drinks, coffees, and food, but this isn't just going to be any café. Our plan is to turn this into a sanctuary for stray animals around town that might need a home, some food, or someplace to keep warm. Everyone will be free to meet the animals, and who knows... Maybe one of them will catch your love and attention, and they can find a more permanent, stable home.

Or, if you just like animals, feel free to come play and spend some time with them.

Look for a notice in your journals around this time next month! Hoping to have a grand opening when the time comes and see you all there, so be sure to stop by the Starflower Sanctuary and Café when we do!

I agree wholeheartedly. I get anxious if I don't have anything to do. Though a day off here and there is still important!

Yes. If you accumulate or are exposed to enough nightmare energy, you can turn. Suffering or experiencing numerous traumatizing events can also accelerate and create it.

There is a way to keep it in check and maintain a balance, but it all depends on one's willpower. Even then it would depend on how greatly affected they are by the source of those nightmares.

Of course, and we'll have plenty.

If there's anyone I'll be concerned about it will be Tifa. I'm already having to force her to slow down and not work every waking minute.

[Yeah. She and Eustace are still going to have a Talk later about what he's implying to these kids. WHO ELSE knows they have been "keeping busy"???? HE COULD HAVE JUST KEPT THE BOX AND SAID NOTHING. OR SENT IT BACK AND SAID NOTHING.



At any rate, she's thankful for the slight subject change and she is going to snatch this opportunity to move on, even if is she is still a bit flustered, and her penmanship reflects that.]

Ah. Well. Surprise! It'll be a café, bar, eatery, you name it. Hoping to make a little bit of everything, including some dishes I was famous for back in Midgar.

Oh, a smokehouse!? I didn't even know we had one of those here!

I'll pass on the information to Eustace, since he'll be taking care of that stuff. He's the hunter and gatherer, I'm just the cook and the front-end of things. But I'm sure he wouldn't say no to an extra bit of help if we can find it. Forgot how much there is that goes into making a place like this work.

Though it is a little easier here than it was back in Midgar.

The Tifa specialty? Hm, that depends. Are you looking for something sweet or savoury? I've got recommendations for both.

[starshower]

Blinis? What are those? Never heard of them before.

[starshower]

Oh! Well, it definitely sounds cuter than whatever I imagined in my head.

But if we've got chocobos here, who's to say we can't have rappigs? Maybe all we gotta do is dream them up... and hope that they come out the way we remember them.

[There are certainly some... interesting versions of creatures here.]

It's not so much giving me trouble. She just likes to bother Eustace whenever he's around. A little bit on the pushy side, you know? But she takes care of the kitten that lives there, too. I guess you could say that she's its mom.

I'm sure you'll meet her eventually. She's a bit shy, but likes being out and about so keep an eye out for a girl with long blue hair.

[Hard to miss, really.]

She'll be helping out at the cafe when we open, too. So could always stop by.

Oh, matcha is genius! Wish I thought of that.

How about donuts? You think those would be a hit here?

Really!? Never? It's too bad you missed ours, but there's another one coming up on the horizon that you might be able to check out.

[But asking Tifa to talk about her wedding!? She's going to try and be chill about this, but let's see how far she gets in her efforts...]

We had a small ceremony with friends just outside of town. It was snowing that day, and we exchanged vows and rings under the tree where we first got together.

The reception was at the Riverside, and we took a few traditions from different places. From my hometown, I used dreamotion to create stars that people could catch like fireflies. They would make a wish on the stars, and either set them free with the hopes that the wish will come true, or hold onto them. Pretty sure a lot of people took them home... including me. Still got one sitting in my living room.

From Eustace, there was a tradition where everyone would make flower crowns and would gift them to their special someone to let them know that they cared. Or just made one for fun. And all the women braided a flower into my hair and veil.

The last one was paopu fruits. A friend of mine said that if two people share a paopu fruit, their destinies will be tied together forever.

Of course, there was a lot of dancing too! And we had our corgis pulling dog sleds around along the riverbank. Oh, and there were firepits with s'mores, a hot chocolate bar... all the little things for a winter wedding for people to keep warm.

[Yeah, she was not chill.]

Don't worry. You'll know when our grand opening is. I'd never forgive you if you didn't show up anyway, you know.

I'll keep that in mind. But I'll make sure to whip up something special just for her in that case.

Who knows, we might even bring in some more cats, rabbits, maybe even some birds, too. Not sure if you've got a preference for any of those, but I'm sure they'd all love some company that will dote on them.
