Subject: A couple special announcements!


[The message will come across the journals in the morning of the 11th, and before Tifa already begins writing, there will be inky, smudged, and noticeably small paw prints decorating the corners of the page.]

Hey Reverein. Tifa here! Eustace and I have another announcement to make. Two this time, actually.

First, some of you might already know this, but I've been wanting to open up my own place here in town. Been something of a goal of mine for a while, and now that the wedding's over, Eustace and I have been working on making it a reality.

Next month, we'll be opening up a bar and café just off the main plaza, and I'll be serving drinks, coffees, and food, but this isn't just going to be any café. Our plan is to turn this into a sanctuary for stray animals around town that might need a home, some food, or someplace to keep warm. Everyone will be free to meet the animals, and who knows... Maybe one of them will catch your love and attention, and they can find a more permanent, stable home.

Or, if you just like animals, feel free to come play and spend some time with them.

Look for a notice in your journals around this time next month! Hoping to have a grand opening when the time comes and see you all there, so be sure to stop by the Starflower Sanctuary and Café when we do!

We won't keep them forever... Eventually we will seek others who can take care of them. However the corgis have a unique condition that I do not know if it carried over to their children.

When the corgis were found, they had magic carried over from their world that stopped time, making them immortal. If they stepped out of the tree, they would die. The only reason they are able to move freely now is due to the magic in the collars they wear.

I do not know yet if the puppies inherited the same magic or not.

[But what does he do with the box now?

This is the first time that he had ever heard of the corgis' past and the magic that tied them to the tree. He can't help but grimace even if Eustace will not see him, feeling sorry for the pups.]

[Well whenever one of the girls or both decide to date him, he'll be prepared.

The good news is that even if they are enchanted with the magic, their time should be starting at zero. They could walk freely outside without any risk to time suddenly accelerating.

I'll be first exposing them to the outside world in a controlled environment abd keep them inside to monitor how they grow. If they age normally, then there should be no risk. But the only way to know for certain is to find the owl that used to live with this tree. It seems to know most about the corgis, however I haven't seen it in a while. Another way is to find a fae who will be able to tell if they are enchanted.

Regardless, I'll have collars prepared for them just in case. Even if the enchantment isn't on them now, it's not impossible that it could develop, especially if they are around the original corgi tree.
