Subject: A couple special announcements!


[The message will come across the journals in the morning of the 11th, and before Tifa already begins writing, there will be inky, smudged, and noticeably small paw prints decorating the corners of the page.]

Hey Reverein. Tifa here! Eustace and I have another announcement to make. Two this time, actually.

First, some of you might already know this, but I've been wanting to open up my own place here in town. Been something of a goal of mine for a while, and now that the wedding's over, Eustace and I have been working on making it a reality.

Next month, we'll be opening up a bar and café just off the main plaza, and I'll be serving drinks, coffees, and food, but this isn't just going to be any café. Our plan is to turn this into a sanctuary for stray animals around town that might need a home, some food, or someplace to keep warm. Everyone will be free to meet the animals, and who knows... Maybe one of them will catch your love and attention, and they can find a more permanent, stable home.

Or, if you just like animals, feel free to come play and spend some time with them.

Look for a notice in your journals around this time next month! Hoping to have a grand opening when the time comes and see you all there, so be sure to stop by the Starflower Sanctuary and Café when we do!

We have some new additions to the family.




[And their ink is smudged again as more pawprints appear across the paper. That's it. That's the end of their announcement. They have seven puppies to wrangle, so please bear with them!]

Huh... Wait, so... Which ones are THEIR parents?

[More importantly, how many dogs do you guys HAVE??? He's trying to figure out this family tree in his head.]

Their names are Cadoc and Rhonwen, the oldest two of the bunch. Have you met them?

[locumstudentesquire]

No... Only Idris and Aerona.

[Particularly Aerona. He hasn't been the same since that day. Ryunosuke shudders involuntarily every time Toby happens to yawn in his vicinity, now.]

Well then, I guess it'll be about time you meet the rest. We've got Cadoc, Rhonnie, Caerwyn, Aerona, Ivor, Briallen, and Idris. And those are just the corgis.

[Counting the names... Seven!? Seven corgis!!? Is that COUNTING the new puppies?]

That's... That's a lot of dogs! You two must really love animals... How do you even manage to keep up with that many?

[starshower]

It's a lot of work, but the dogs are pretty smart and well-trained that they can do a lot of stuff on their own.

[Or else... yeah, how would they keep up with that many dogs?]

They'll be helping out around the café, so I guess it does come with a few blessings!

Seriously?

Alright. That I need to see. I'll have to make sure to drop by, once you're open for business.

I'm sure they'd appreciate it. If you bring them treats, they might do a few tricks for you, too.

[Maybe he'll even cook something... If he can work up the gumption. Goodness knows he needs to try new things more often.]

For the record, they love peanut butter. But I'm sure they'll take just about anything that you want to make them. Make sure to bring it with you opening day.
