[The message will come across the journals in the morning of the 11th, and before Tifa already begins writing, there will be inky, smudged, and noticeably small paw prints decorating the corners of the page.]

Hey Reverein. Tifa here! Eustace and I have another announcement to make. Two this time, actually.

First, some of you might already know this, but I've been wanting to open up my own place here in town. Been something of a goal of mine for a while, and now that the wedding's over, Eustace and I have been working on making it a reality.

Next month, we'll be opening up a bar and café just off the main plaza, and I'll be serving drinks, coffees, and food, but this isn't just going to be any café. Our plan is to turn this into a sanctuary for stray animals around town that might need a home, some food, or someplace to keep warm. Everyone will be free to meet the animals, and who knows... Maybe one of them will catch your love and attention, and they can find a more permanent, stable home.

Or, if you just like animals, feel free to come play and spend some time with them.

Look for a notice in your journals around this time next month! Hoping to have a grand opening when the time comes and see you all there, so be sure to stop by the Starflower Sanctuary and Café when we do!

We have some new additions to the family.




[And their ink is smudged again as more pawprints appear across the paper. That's it. That's the end of their announcement. They have seven puppies to wrangle, so please bear with them!]

Oh! [ It is a word she writes before she even knew how she wanted to react, really, which accounts for the pause afterwards. Eventually she continues: ] I'm flattered, Eustace. I am sure the flower wolves would love to play with them.

The snakes may need an adjustment period, however.

[ She's going to give the "pups are friends, not food" speech, though it sounds like there'll be some time to worry about all that, anyway. ]

Of course I won't force anything on you if you have too much on your hands. But knowing how much you care about Rhonwen, I only thought it fitting I should keep one for you just in case.

Of course. How could I say no?

Thank you. When I'm able to come see them, I shall have to see which one likes me the best.

I'll also let you know when they're healthy enough for visitors. Given how their parents were, I want to be sure they won't need any extra protection.

Hmm. You know, I never did know Rhonnie as a pup... nor Cadoc. What can we expect?

I'm not sure, either, they arrived here as adults. However, I do have their records along with the other dogs that had been raised in the tree back in their world. I've already scanned through them, but aside from the puppies adjusting to their own innate magic, there wasn't anything notable.

My main concern has been if they are also affected by the "frozen time" the others had...but since they were born here, it might not matter even if they did.

Well, my fervent wish is that the puppies are as healthy as they are cute. We will start new records for them!

Of course! I have plenty, and I can always get more. Once their forever homes are decided, I will make sure they all get one, to start.
