002 🌠 starflower sanctuary and a surprise

[The message will come across the journals in the morning of the 11th, and before Tifa already begins writing, there will be inky, smudged, and noticeably small paw prints decorating the corners of the page.]

Hey Reverein. Tifa here! Eustace and I have another announcement to make. Two this time, actually.

First, some of you might already know this, but I've been wanting to open up my own place here in town. Been something of a goal of mine for a while, and now that the wedding's over, Eustace and I have been working on making it a reality.

Next month, we'll be opening up a bar and café just off the main plaza, and I'll be serving drinks, coffees, and food, but this isn't just going to be any café. Our plan is to turn this into a sanctuary for stray animals around town that might need a home, some food, or someplace to keep warm. Everyone will be free to meet the animals, and who knows... Maybe one of them will catch your love and attention, and they can find a more permanent, stable home.

Or, if you just like animals, feel free to come play and spend some time with them.

Look for a notice in your journals around this time next month! Hoping to have a grand opening when the time comes and see you all there, so be sure to stop by the Starflower Sanctuary and Café when we do!

We have some new additions to the family.




[And their ink is smudged again as more pawprints appear across the paper. That's it. That's the end of their announcement. They have seven puppies to wrangle, so please bear with them!]

Yes, the café and sanctuary. Hehe, but I suppose it was just an excuse to look at cute pictures of animals.

Well, count me as surprised! That's so sweet, Susato. Thank you.

[She may have teared up a little bit at her support. What a sweet little sis.]

If you need help designing them, I don't mind sitting with you. Still trying to come up with a logo myself.

[ It is truly what she's best at. But she finds herself humming--the flier would have certainly been lacking without some sort of logo. ]

Well... Since the name was inspired by the starflower, why not include one in the logo?

I did think of that... but I wasn't sure if it should just be a starflower. What do you think of adding some paws to it somehow, too?

Or you could use one of the little one's paws for something more authentic. I don't know how I would integrate it with a starflower, though...

Actually, your doodle does give me an idea. I'll have to sketch a mockup, or maybe find someone to do it for me, but I think I've got something in mind. I owe you one!

I'll make a starflower paw donut in your honour.

Perhaps something rabbit-themed? Kazuma and I are learning to make cakes, and I've also been making chocolate bunnies for Valentine's Day.
