[Another longer pause. Er... no? Not really... People haven't from what he's noticed. But when he first got here, he wasn't taking any of this seriously and was his usual 'charming' self and kept people at arms length... Which didn't win him any favors. Now he's reaping what he sowed. He would rather die again to admit he was lonely.]

People are usually tempted into committing sins by their individual circumstances, so even sinners are victims in their own right. That doesn't automatically mean they aren't nice people. Now I don't claim to know what your circumstances are, and I'm certainly not excusing you for whatever wrongs you've committed, but clearly as a resident of Hell you're already paying for them. So maybe now that you're inside a dream, you can try to be a little nicer to yourself. Maybe give others a chance to prove you wrong about what you do or don't deserve.

[As the text flooded his page, Angel stared down in silence. The old him when he first arrived would have doubled down and intentionally just been his old trashy self. Try to convince himself that he was this... thing people saw him as. There was still a self destructive demon inside him that tried to crawl its way back to the surface but he managed to wrestle it to back into the shadows.

He was so glad this was over text and not in person cause damn... was his eyes leaking? The kid's words brought to mind someone he lost here who meant something special to him. Goddammit, he missed him...

Angel tried to dab away his tears with the back of his hand but one escaped to fall on the open page on his lap, smudging the ink. Fffff- hoped that didn't translate on the kid's page.]

That's a lot of food, kid. You trying to fatten me up? I gotta figure to watch.

So are ya volunteerin' your services, wise guy?

[Heizou takes the smudge as a positive sign that he's gotten through to him. He won't comment on it for the sake of Angel's pride, but it makes him smile just a little.]
