Subject: Expedition and potential sparring partners

Hey guys! That was a crazy feast. All that was missing was some good alcohol, but those tapirs really know how to throw a party.

Anyway, I was thinking and we don't really know much about this place or what's outside the town. Since we'll need to start heading into the forests for hunting and gathering other resources, was thinking of heading out to check it out. Plus aren't these fae things our neighbors now? Or I guess we're their new neighbors...? Can't hurt to see what's there.

There are also those redcaps we need to deal with if we want any iron. I'm not sure about anyone else, but as a swordsman I definitely have a vested interest in that.

...And maybe I want to see how tough they are, haha.




Yeah, okay, I just want to see what kind of tough monsters are out there, heh. Not that I want to make enemies out of allies, but never hurts to know what kind of threats there are, right? Who knows, we might be helping them out, too.

[No, he just wants to find the biggest and strongest thing there is and fight it.]

Speaking of, if anyone needs a sparring partner, I'm your daemon. I'm curious to see how my skills stack up against those from different worlds.

I'm not opposed to sparring, if that's what you're interested in.

Nothing like that. It's more, the light in one's heart.

It's difficult to explain. I suppose heart and spirit could be considered the same thing, in a way.]

...Hmm, so it's something that manifests based on your spirit? I think I can see that.

Wait, does that mean you can summon the blade at will?

[iracorn]

I can, yes. It comes at my call, and I can dismiss it as well.

Seriously!? Man, if only I could do that it would make carrying all my blades, easier.

Then again, there's no better feeling than the weight of steel on your black or the sound of the blade sliding against the sheathe.

Is it always the same or can you change the appearance?

[He's thinking back to when he tried to summon swords in that dream simulator thing.]

How many do you have?

Mine always takes the same appearance, but it also depends on the wielder. Other wielders would have other designs.

2 to 4, depending on whether I'm carrying my short swords or not.

Can anyone wield a keyblade? In your world, I mean, I imagine different worlds or whatever might make it unique yours or something.

That's impressive. I've only used the one so I can't really imagine using four at once. Though, I do have magic as well.

But no. Only those with strong hearts filled with Light can wield one. But it's something one can train for.

Most of the worlds I've been to have some knowledge of the keyblade. It's been a new experience, to learn of those that don't.

I could only use two at a time at the most, but my style will change depending on which set I use. I also have artes, which are special skills that aren't exactly magic, but I can use the elements so it can look a little similar.

But filled with Light, huh? Guess I'm out, haha.

It sounds like a very flexible and effective style. I hope to see it in person someday.

I'm always open for sparring anytime.

Would a daemon count as a being of Darkness?

Truthfully, I haven't encountered a daemon before, so I'm not sure.

Perhaps a spar could bring that answer to light.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some similarity, but I'm all for figuring it over while clashing blades.

And yes, it is. More of a mask, really. It designated me as a leader.

A Union. Myself and other keyblade wielders would travel to other worlds in order to protect them.
