Subject: Expedition and potential sparring partners

Hey guys! That was a crazy feast. All that was missing was some good alcohol, but those tapirs really know how to throw a party.

Anyway, I was thinking and we don't really know much about this place or what's outside the town. Since we'll need to start heading into the forests for hunting and gathering other resources, was thinking of heading out to check it out. Plus aren't these fae things our neighbors now? Or I guess we're their new neighbors...? Can't hurt to see what's there.

There are also those redcaps we need to deal with if we want any iron. I'm not sure about anyone else, but as a swordsman I definitely have a vested interest in that.

...And maybe I want to see how tough they are, haha.




Yeah, okay, I just want to see what kind of tough monsters are out there, heh. Not that I want to make enemies out of allies, but never hurts to know what kind of threats there are, right? Who knows, we might be helping them out, too.

Speaking of, if anyone needs a sparring partner, I'm your daemon. I'm curious to see how my skills stack up against those from different worlds.

Just be careful about mushroom rings if you're going into fae territory- aka avoid walking into them. I can see about going with you but I'll need to make sure someone's looking after Nanako before I commit to it.

And that's a shame, I take it Excalibur is the name of your weapon? What kind?

Usually it means you get pulled into the fae's domain, and Fae can be... temperamental at best, deadly at worst. They don't think like humans do, simply put.

That and supposedly time runs different in their world. 3 days there could be hundreds in our own. So better safe than sorry.

Nah, it wasn't mine, it belonged to the person I was borrowing power from; King Arthur. I don't think that particular story carried over to your world if I remember right...

It was a broadsword, with pretty potent holy/magic powers. Sort of considered 'the' Legendary sword by European standards compared to where I'm from.

I saw something on the board about them. I don't really know much about them, either, but apparently little goblin things have stolen most of the iron around town.

But yeah, I'm a daemon. Used to be human, but in my world you can become corrupted to the point you lose your humanity and change.

But probably more of a culling than total extinction. To be fair, they were here first. But if they keep being a problem then maybe we can revisit.

Besides, they're creatures made of dreams. I'm not sure how much death even deters them. Regardless, I would be willing to come along. We'll need iron if we seek to have any kind of metal production or industry here.
