Why do you call it The Wild Harvest?

[steadypulse]

Started off harvesting our ingredients from the wilds of the forest and what we could grow ourselves. Opened a bit of a year after the first wave of folks started appearing, and there still wasn't that much set up.

The two I helped with opening the place felt it was a fitting name with all of that.

It is amazing that in a world of dreams, humans still fight so hard to survive. If this is a dream, you don't need to do these things.

We actually do need these things here. Folks here still feel every hunger pain, every thirst- we exist as real in this dream world as if awake.

Pain in the ass, but it's no ordinary dream.

Do we? Or is that just how people perceive things? Dreams are like illusions. They can seem real even though they're not.

[steadypulse]

We do, and we are frighteninly real for some of the shit that can happen here. Learned that during the first wave of folks appearing in this world.

What happened then?

People discovered it really was no different to being awake; hunger, thirst, exhaustion- it's why the fact the farmers came back when they did was fortunate.

The first encounter with Noctaere as well. People getting injured, needing time to heal or finding people that could heal them.
