What do you think human nature is closer to? That of gods, angels, or demons?

Define "human" as whatever your worlds closest equivalent is, if you need to.

Theres still two other options, you know. You don't have to treat them like tapeworms.

[He says this as though he didn't pretty much declare himself and had a plan to become God.]
Humans are not angels, and demon is giving them far too much credit.

So then you'd be closest to that of a parasite. In my opinion, of course.
You're right. Humans are not like angels. They have far more mercy in them.

As for killing the planet, can't say that's the case where I'm from. There was a few environmental concerns a few years back, but they've worked pretty hard to mitigate or even reverse the ill effecfs. And there's constant lobbying going on by the common people to make the world a better place, and to even rewild areas that had been destroyed.
So yes, humans can destroy, and horde resources, but they can also give back an incredible amount to make the world a better place. You can't say all humans are wholly good or wholly evil.

The only way to give back from what they've taken is to forfeit their own lives. Return to the planet before there is nothing left.

Even the humans where I'm from have several means of creating energy, from harnessing the wind, sun, and sea, to burning fuels that pollute the planet, to even nuclear energy.
Obviously all power sources are not made equal, and I can't really comment on using the dead, unless you count dinosaurs.
(Thats burning coal and other ancient stuff, it's particularly bad for the planet)
I just don't see why killing them all has to be the way when humans are particularly adaptable and intelligent.
