Hello there! It appears that this world is entering its Spring Solstice and with such a season brings new life and new flowers to everything the sun touches! I'd like to share with you a tradition during this time of year from my homeland, the beautiful and free city of Mondstadt. And that is the Windblume festival.
During this time of year, many will offer flowers in tribute to the god of freedom! Yet, what is more important is the tradition of gifting flowers to those you love and hold dear. The choice of flowers can say a lot about a person's feelings! When gifting precious flowers to those you love and adore the carefully picked flower should be one that means something to you and that precious relationship.
While this time of year doesn't necessarily have to mean these gestures are romantic there is another tradition of sending your most adored one a love poem. A perfect time to be confessing your heart's song to the one who holds your heart! Ehe, isn't that lovely?
I, as a travelling bard, have spent many years seeing the Windblume season! And with it, I have written hundreds of poems and know exactly how to weave love's verse. I would like to offer my assistance in helping you find the words to write your own love letter or poem to the one you hold dear or wish to confess to! Do tell me all about the one you hold in your heart and allow me to help you craft the words to express your heart's feelings.
Please, it would be my pleasure!
[Spill the tea on your love lives and in return Venti will help you confess in a love letter! Come on, get spilling! He loves the gossip!]

Sorry, Venti! ]
Flowers have a language of their own, do they not? It depends on the color too, I have heard. Is your Windblume festival tradition accompanied by a guide of sorts?
no subject
Why yes! It's quite similar to the language of flowers! While there is no official guide on what each flower means it can be quite meaningful if you give a flower that speaks to your heart!
[Isn't that romantic? It's a bit about your own interpretation of flowers too!]

I have heard of this festival, though I have never experienced it for myself. From my understanding of it, the Windblume Festival is as important to Mondstadt as Lantern Rite is to Liyue, correct?
Are offering flowers and writing poetry the only tradition that occurs during this time?
no subject
[Any chance to throw playful shade at Morax, okay.]
There is one more tradition of picking a representative to provide the tribute of flowers to the god of freedom. Although I think it would make sense to skip that part here.

When I'm with the one I love I feel like my existence has more meaning. I feel like it has purpose.
It's really hard to put this into words. Wouldn't you know how to write it down better?

My! You already have the start of a poem itself right there! Do tell me more! How did you meet? How did your heart feel when you knew that this life would be incomplete without them?

I think I would very much like to give flowers to everyone I've befriended here, to show how much I appreciate the kindness they've shown me, but... actually, could you tell me more about the flowers of Mondstadt? Diluc has told me about dandelions, but I'm curious about other ones too.
And... I could definitely use some help with writing poems...
[ oh gods. she's so glad this is all happening over writing, because she is definitely about ready to wither away at the mere thought of writing a romantic poem. ]
no subject
I'm more than happy to share such a heartwarming tradition with others! Sharing flowers with others is a joy!
I am curious what Diluc has told you so far about the flowers that grow around Mondstadt. There's such a variety. Aside from our staple of dandelions, true and free in any wind that blows there are also flowers like the Windwheel Aster. Come what may those beautiful flowers continue to grow and spin and don't look back at any sort of hardship. There are also such things like Wolfhooks and Valberries that while they do grow fragrant blooms also give back to the world by bearing fruit.
What you might find interesting is the glowing Lamp Grass flower. No matter how dark a night might be they glow bright and light the way for those who need it.
Reminds you of someone, don't you think?

How do you tell someone that you care about them, but you're confused and it's kind of weird, but you're pretty sure you have feelings for them, but only if they have feelings back? If they don't, then no harm, no foul, and everything goes back to normal.
Any way to make that sound good?
[Because right now, things between himself and Hilda are not normal.]
no subject
How chivalrous of you to offer your heart but if those feelings aren't returned keep yourself held high! I commend you for that! Ehe! There is plenty we can write about that.
Let's start at the beginning. How did you meet? And what did it feel like when you knew how they made you feel?

As for flowers for the god of freedom it is often up to the giver what that flower might be. What a person might consider their kind of windblume, so to say. It could be a rose, a cecillia, a sweet flower full of sugar. Whatever flower they might think would represent their own version of being free.

[Not. That things were the best between them initially. Eventually though, Sakura had wormed her way into his feelings. Even if she was oblivious until he actually confessed. Until she knew he was leaving. It feels like she just got him back and ended up here, basically. She does miss him though. So much. And her friends. Her family.]

You could always draft a poem or letter to him with how you feel and send it off to him the moment you can! Ehe, it would be a lovely welcome, would it not? I'm sure the smile he would get at receiving it would be memorable all the same!

I may not have any romantic interests, but the act of gifting flowers...doesn't sound like such a bad idea. Would you be able to tell me more about how to gift flowers that express a general feeling of appreciation? Or ones that convey friendship, maybe?
no subject
Yellow is often attributed to friendship. Or white and pink for thoughts of joy and happiness. For someone bright and sunny? Perhaps a sunflower? For someone gracious and true? Perhaps a snapdragon.

It sounds like something he might do himself, actually.]
What a lovely tradition (if you'll pardon the pun).
Alas, tempted as I am to offer the individual I have in mind a poem, I must wonder if flowers would be preferred. I don't suppose you have any suggestions for the latter?
no subject
he does love that hot gossip]Consider yourself pardoned although I appreciate all puns big or small!
It's a shame that your receiver might like the flowers better, perhaps that's all the more reason to gift one?
Nonetheless! A simple collection of red roses for a lover is always well thought. But what is your individual like?
